Scary Movie 5 and Movie 43 are my worst
Mine was Lois & Clark... I mean Man of steel. They spent more time writing for LL like she was trying out for the justice league. And completely lacked character development for Zod and Superman/Clark. PC doesn't work for every fucking movie.
I remember enjoying "GI Joe: Retaliation" when I saw it, but I haven't seen it since.
I also enjoyed "White House Down."
Lone Ranger in a flop 10 ? Either you've watched about 20 movies in 2013, or you have a problem with Johnny Depp, because otherwise, it's just absurd.

This isn't acceptable, you can't purposely make a bad movie and then say "oh that's the style we were going for" it is just lazy, they make a shit movie, proclaim it to be shit, rake in a load of cash and then repeat the cycle. what a disgrace.

Iron Man 3:
Not just because of the stupid twist…but because of everything else. Messy plot, disappointing payoffs, an uninteresting antagonist, and really cringe worthy humor scattered throughout. It did not feel like a sequel to the other Iron Man movies…it sucked. I hated it.
Well, Sharknado is meant to be bad on purpose. So I don't what you were expecting when you went to see it. I mean, did you know about the people who made it? The Asylum.
It pains me to say this because Leonardo Dicaprio was in it but The Great Gatsby was probably the worst movie I saw, that and Gangster Squad which was a complete rip off of the Untouchables which was far better.

I thought The Purge was OK, not terrible but not good either. I'm still in the making of Both Best and Worst of 2013 at this time. Movies I hated this year were Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2, Escape From Planet Earth, A Good Day To Die Hard, RIPD, We're The Millers, Movie 43, A Haunted House, Beautiful Creatures, Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters. I'm seeing GETAWAY on Netflix tomorrow, I'm pretty sure it will be on my list. These next few days will be torture but also make me a happy lad with the good movies :) Great Video John, I honestly thought Grown Ups 2 was funny, it's not a masterpiece or anything but it was a decent laugh-out loud film in my opinion.

I enjoyed After EArth and the Purge despite it's many, MANY flaws, Die Hard 5 wasn't good but I can't say I was mad, my top 5 worst were GAngster Squad, Only God Forgives, Last Exorcism Part 2, The Host, and Movie 43.

Scay Movie 5 and The Internship were the worst for my money. I actually liked The Lone Ranger though. Overlong sure, but I loved that finale with the trains.
G.I. Joe and The Lone Ranger was actually good IMO. Not great by far but definitely should not be put on this list. Also Texas Chainsaw is WAYYYY worse than the Purge

GI Joe: Retaliation was dumb, loud, had literally non-stop action and was any synonym you could possibly find for 'cheesy'... I LOVED it!

A Good Day to Die Hard was a shit fest. I've seen better Seagal and Van Damme and Adkins DTV action movies than that. Biggest movie disappointment in my life. It makes Live Free or Die Hard look like Die Hard with a Vengeance.

Retaliation was fun. The scene where Snake eyes and Jinx capture Storm Shadow alone was worth admission. Not a great movie but not a bad one either.

As for the rest of the movies I have seen I agree they are shit.
For me it was Carrie. I just couldn't stand it. Every second I sat in that theater, I just wanted someone to come in and knock me the fuck out. I walked out near the end of it because I couldn't take it anymore.

I enjoyed "White House Down", because it didn't take itself seriously, it knew it was a stupid concept ("Die Hard" in the White House), and it just had fun with it, it was fun for the sake of being fun, I saw it in IMAX and had a blast!
I enjoyed "The Lone Ranger" too, my only problems were that it was a bit too long, and it was overproduced (Costing $375,000,000 including marketing). But seriously, you think it's worse than "Grown Ups 2"? I'd rather be bored by a movie, then enraged by it.

The purge was very entertaining, Id recommend it. It gave me an adrenaline rush and it was well played out.

You can't take movies like Movie 43 off because they were just way to terrible. That makes no sense. You wouldn't take a movie that was just so incredible and amazing off the best of the year list.
I have to agree about The Purge. It was pretty silly. Great video, its a breath of Fresh air to see someone with a top 10 list that doesn't have the same movies as everyone else.
Good list man, you made me laugh a few times. I liked White House Down, please don't judge me. Die Hard 5 is the one other movie I seen and yeah it sucked. I may give Lone Ranger a shot. I'm not a horror fan and even if I was, I still won't watch movies that like being gross. I seen Grudge Match tonight, it was decent. I'll shut up.

DH5 actually made me want to die hard. Another sequel that should never have been even considered. The Purge was a huge disappointment. I was looking forward to it, but it was horrible.

I will never understand the hate for The Lone Ranger. Sure it's not a masterpiece, but it's good, relatively harmless fun. The final action scene was pretty awesome.

they actually had a panic room in The Purge. That movie was pretty bad but still entertaining....
sooo glad The Purge made this list. a friend of mine had me watch this movie, told me it was both brilliant and badass. my disappointment couldn't be conveyed using words that exist in any language, or that have ever existed. he and I argued for a good hour about how this movie failed to tell a good story or get me interested in it enough for me to give a damn. my distaste for this movie can only be described in reference to diarrhea and vomit covered underwear worn for a year by Michael Moore. to hell with the purge and whoever thought it would make for an interesting movie. that was time in my life wasted that I can never get back. and that makes me cry.
The initial premise of The Purge IS good. They just couldn't develop it past that and made it a generic home invasion flick. The premise had the potential to be a dark, satirical film but they blew it. It's not about the law being inherently sane (white people were allowed to own black people as property not all that long ago, remember?) it's about it being set up in a believable way.
hahaha...we used to do movie night with a couple of friends and one night they brought over the purge .... buddy said it was awsome and that i would like it .....he couldnt have been more wrong....i sat and made fun of the movie the whole time and like jon says its just a stupid fucking movie and the concept is really fucking dumb....the neighbours coming over to kill the family at the end over dude having flaunted his money was so fucking stupid

OMG John, you nailed it right the head. The Purge was awful. I totally agree with you that I felt my intelligence was insulted throughout this terrible movie. Some of the most absurd movie characters I've seen in a long time.
I actually kinda liked GI Joe Retaliation. My fiance wanted to watch Age of Extinction and I spent most of the runtime slumped over the arm of the couch staring at the floor. A Good Day to Die Hard was the first of the franchise I ever saw and even I knew that this is not what the movies were all about (seeing the original later on confirmed that). The movie of 2013 that I really hated was Pacific Rim, a pile of cliches and blandness. Ron Perlman and Ellen McLain are the best parts of that movie (not good when they're in it for a combined total of 3 minutes!)
The Purge was awful. I left the theater like I had just flushed $9 down the toilet.
I actually liked the purge, the concept was great, but I admit the execution was lacking. It was a descent general horror flick, and I'm glad it did well because my major problem with it was they stuck in the house and you really didn't get to see the purge. Which probably was due to budget. The sequel sounds like it's going to be better.

Dude, I totally feel you on The Purge. Not because I've seen it, I've purposefully avoided actually watching it knowing I wouldn't be able to take the premise seriously and it would only annoy and piss me off. Then I watched Nostalgia Critic's review of it and saw the main "villain". What. The. Royal. Fuck. If I want to see an over the top creepo villain, I'll just pop in The Dark Knight, where it's done to perfection. What a dumbass movie, wow.
