This season has felt so refreshing having finished Amur before it. My blood pressure has dropped quite a bit. Also thanks for the content the snow runner stuff and everything else.
It's nice having options, because Amur is basically you have to use the Ziks 605R, Tayga king, Azovs and Kolobs for everything because they're the only trucks that can handle Amur
Really enjoying this season. One hint I would add is to avoid the mud roads and drive on the grass, it's significantly easier to get around.
It's so satisfying running over rows of sunflowers too.

Grass is definitely usually preferable although some areas have grass between trees and it turns into death mud. Belozersk really keeps you on your toes.
The great thing about this season is that it's letting us use trucks that would otherwise see little use. I enjoyed using the Kodiak, for example, since it is plenty good enough for many tasks. The railway jumps are a nice addition, too!
Mad love for the railway jumps. And exactly that, I think almost every truck could work if you want it to. Even the highway steeds...
@@ATribeCalledCars I have actually used the International Transtar for a task in Crossroads, it did fare okay to be honest, and it was a nice change!
My sentiment exactly. Owning 30+ trucks but having to resort to the same 5-6 usual suspects for everything was starting to get old. And after having maps (/cough/ Northern Aegis Installation /cough/) where you need to use the ZiKZ 605R even for scouting, Season 8 is a welcome change of pace. Cheers! //Rick
the fact i could use most of the trucks and not just "mud tire wide wheel base trucks" like the norm was very nice.
One of the best seasons so far, love to use the old school trucks rather than having to use trucks that are ”the best”.
That's it, more truck freedom is a good thing.
I never realised farming stuff could be so satisfying. I really like this level, and I have been a fan of the brigadier since it came out. The beep moments had me laughing too, nice one Ben hope you're well. Cheers!

6:00 I would much sooner take the Boar for its speed and exceptionally good clearance on high saddle trailers. It performs great with the OHD tires and has a good p2w as well and is overall much better suited for the map.

I am now in the second round and have used the "Pike", as found, for smaller tasks. I am amazed at how well it is doing.

This season is epic. My regulars so far is the Yar for scouting, Voron D for cargo, Aramatsu for logs, and the big boy Ken963 for all around big truck stuff.
Tayga 6455B has so far done everything in Season 8
It's definitely one of the better trucks. Just a long process to get and I try to offer accessible options. Although I do recommend the Zikz 605R and that's not easy either...

Good choices! Another truck I've certainly enjoyed using in the Belozersk Glades maps is the Pacific 512 PF. Its tyres are great for the kind of mud you find in these maps, and the lack of AWD isn't much of a problem. And it's another truck that can do crane + bed + trailer, so that doesn't hurt either. I recently experienced that the BOAR is great aswell, it is not really versatile, but with its HUGE height, it can simply pass the rivers on the Map without getting stuck or taking damage :D
And for scouting I used the TUZ 16 which is fun to drive, has autonomous winch and loads of fuel.
Same goes for Tatra 805, which sadly has no winch but is powerfull and fast as hell for refuling other trucks and stuff
I found that the 47x nf 1430 worked amazingly well and used it for almost every mission
That is a gooood truck, especially since the update. I think the 1430 is the best of the three although the 57X is quite like the Navistar.
After Amur and Kola peninsula Season 8 feels like a relaxing, lazy driving on most trucks in game. It seems well balanced: you CAN encounter some challenges, but MAINLY you just driving with pleasure.
Sad to say, but the new farming tasks are rather annoying. There are too many of them. Anyway, eight season is a good place to taste that all trucks, what collected dust in your parking. I've got a lot of pleasure driving Kodiak, GMC and some other "starter" trucks. They rather good, by the way (with upgrades, of course).
Absolutely, repitition kicks in as I talk about in my forthcoming review but overall it is a nice set of maps with a good difficulty curve and truck freedom.
For scouting, I actually prefer to use the Step crocodile to any of the dedicated scout trucks. With the fuel tank add-on, that thing will go anywhere on these maps and is an absolute pleasure to drive, especially with the high range gear box and OHDII tires. Plus, it can haul light loads easier than a scout can so it has some serious versatility. For that matter, all the Step trucks perform really nicely on this map and I’ve really enjoyed using all three of them, though the pike has some very peculiar trailer collisions (looking at you logging trailer!).

I uses my Tatras for common cargo. Kolob is for the heavy. And Tatarin for scouting. However when I bring out the Kolob, I usually have to bring CAT with tank.

Absolutely, the nose is the only negative really.
You should really try the Rezvani if you haven’t. If you need a scout that crosses rivers that is the truck. With the max suspension, biggest mud tires and snorkel. You can go up to the roof in water to cross a river, who needs bridges. The truck rarely ever gets stuck either

I enjoy slapping a big fuel tank onto a less usable truck and then leaving it somewhere where I want a gas station.

It is just me, or they added new tires for the heavy class trucks? I don’t remember seeing 2 type of tires
New tyres were added, DMHS or something. I forget the name but it shares the same stats with what we had already.

Yes, yes and yes. On the list.
The 6900 is a good truck and WAY less tippy if you don't use the lift kit.
Also it has dual wheel options and single rear wheel options. I can't remember the pros vs cons. But I remember one being less tippy.
You are right, worth keeping it stock suspension. I just tend to default to raised and regret it later.
Err... no Tayga 6436? Some things are changing here...
BTW, a subestimasted truck is the Azov 64131. Is not the fast one but goes far with a single fuel tank and haves almost all possible addons.
Another good one is the Tatra FORCE T815-7. Besides the lack of addons, it is very competent and haves some extra fuel and repairs.
And last (but not least): if the idea is autonomy, we have the Ford F-750. Of course with the big 6.6 engine installed. But it haves so many fuel addons that's make it impossible to goes without fuel. Besides it can pull truck addons instead scout ones.
The Tayga King, Azov ez mode and Zikz 605 are givens, they're the best trucks in the game for any map. this is to suggest alternatives to the ez mode trucks
Exactly that, I have mentioned the kings of SnowRunner before in many other lists. It would get dull to keep repeating the obvious trucks, although I do put some trucks in at the start to suggest they work too (Zikz 605R, for example). I do like the Tatras and the Ford F 750 is a beast.

I still don't understand why isn't in this game Tatra 815 8x8 agro which should be 4 slot cargo plus trailers and Tatra 815 6x6 it should has all addons available on this truck cuz in real life was used for any job you can imagine.
Its true you can use Tatra 815 mod but DLC would be awesome
My plan was to complete season 1 and hop into season two..
After almost finishing that Amur/Cosmodrome crap I am beginning to hate this game.
It gets easier, Amur is the peak of difficulty mountain. Northern Aegis Installation is the worst. Things are more pleasant in Season 2.
The game is awesome but my problem is the snow. Staring into the TV with everything white and the headlights bouncing back you hurts my head (I mean for real it’s like these new cars headlights that burn into your insides). So I hope that they don’t do any snow
Yeah that is true. I saw a Reddit post about all the different lights in SnowRunner and how they look. Some addons are much less eye-melting than others though I cannot remember which. Might be worth a look!

If any of the devs watch this channel, perhaps it is possible to add an option to disable AUTO-REVERSE feature, as it makes it very difficult to enjoy the game with a wheel and pedals.

I would disagree with that GMC mh9500 and brigadier are almost the same. GMC brigadier has powerful engine, yet great on fuel. Also It's suspensions are far more flexible than the mh9500 which makes it even more fuel efficient (because you don't need to turn on AWD all the time) so yeah. There is a reason that why brigadier has 100K price And mh9500 has only 26K price.
Yeah I can under stand that, I definitely prefer the Briggy. But I think most people would be happy with the MH9500 instead if they did not want to spend real money.

Do you know what DMHS tires are the best?
Works the same as another tyre so usually the II version, if I recall correctly.

@@idkwhattoputhere6394 There is a general rule that if it's more rugged it does best in mud at the expense of dirt. It all gets quite complicated but the I, II and III (sometimes IV) are perfectly usable. Other factors come into play so I would not worry too much. Driving technique, wheel size and clearance all being prime examples.

I actually really like the new K-700 of course the turning can be really annoying being it's articulated and all but it has really good pulling power and can haul all the normal size trailers. So rather than using the Tatarin for scouting and trailer grabbing I just use the K-700. Plus it can fit through some pretty heavily forested areas.
I wish the 605r got more love, I just like the look
It's featured a fair few times before because it's epic and hopefully most people know about it. It is very good everywhere in SnowRunner.
The 605, Tayga king and Azov 64131 need no mentioning, everyone knows them because they're the best trucks in the game

I personally have used it as a scout in some maps. Equipped with the fuel tank and all spare part addons it is basically unstoppable...

Both are pretty decent in the Glades.
I use the phoenix as my “rescue” truck. That thing practically flies across this map and is almost impossible to tip over on the moguls. It’s such a shame it has such limited versatility because I love that truck but can’t really use it for much.

@@ATribeCalledCars like the world and environment look impeccable in this game. I imagine they could use that for many other genres of games. Like a zombie game where you can drive different places, but the size truck you have and deciding to cross somewhere could cost you your jeep or pickup.
Tatra FORCE T815-7 - good fuel efficient and a lot of fuel... bed, crane and trailer.
Azov 64131 - if you have to go far without refueling, it's an obvious and boring choice.
GMC Brigadier 8000 - this is very poor truck. I can't find a single advantage.
The Briggy is decent! Agreed about the other trucks, I did use the 64131 a bit. I think most people know how good it is and I've listed it before.

@@Don_Mag The ones stated in the video and it's an enjoyable drive. If we always go for efficiency we'd all only use the 73210, 605R etc. I wanted to mix things up.
@@ATribeCalledCars I totally agree, I'll try Briggy one more time. But there are definitely more interesting choices that have some advantages: both ANK, all Azovs, Dan, Internationals (without 4070), all Pacyfics, all Steps, both Tuz, all Tatras, both Tayga, all Varons (Varon Grad is underestimated)... They are definitely more interesting. Each of them has its own advantage. Briggy is bland...

HX 520 is some kind of garbage!
Everything spoils his turning radius. He can't fit into more than one turn. Unfortunately, because of this, it is not useable in this game.
