    Thank you, about 2.5years ago I started show my GREAT NIECES how to quilt! Sew much fun, ages at that time were, 11, 9, 7 & 5…. They were all able to make a quick easy quilted project with me! Thank you for this quilt pattern it’s perfect for our sewing projects!

      My granddaughter is 4 years old. I can’t wait to teach her to sew. She is with me in my sewing room all the time, so it definitely will be a familiar place when that time comes.

    Love this quilt and it's quickness. I am looking fir a few quick quilts for the church fund raiser. This will be one. I think I will use red, white, and blue patriotic colors since I went crazy buying Primitive Gatherings fabric! Thank Kimberly. Healing prayers to you.

    With a birthday in October and a name that appears as The Witch in books frequently, chose to use stash of Halloween fabric for the queen sized option. Doing 12 blocks a day for a week-long project. TU FQS team. Happy Haunting

      Mine too, I've been making quilts for years but Kimberly's tips have made my quilt-making so much more precise and seams that fit together nicely. I looked at the last quilt I made and could see how much better it looked than when I first started. I now take time to starch, pin more often and iron frequently, paying attention as I do.

    It would be faster to sew the white onto the fat eights as one long strip before they are cut into rectangles.

      Was thinking the same thing. As long as the pattern isn't highlight directional that it can't be flipped.

      @@kimleif2533 praying starch and pressing your fabrics smooth before cutting. It makes them crisp and more stable so they’re easier to cut and handle. This is especially true if you are using flannel to make your patchwork with.

    I've been searching for a different baby quilt pattern than all the rest and I came across this pattern. I love watching your tutorials very thorough!! I used some of my
    Little Ducklings - Broken Star fat 8th bundle and it turned out gorgeous. I only used two rows of five blocks for a smaller version for a baby, and it turned out awesome.
