20 Minute Dumbbell Back and Biceps Workout at Home

  • Hello everyone!
    This dumbbell back workout at home is exactly what I would be doing in the gym to build strength and add definition to my middle and upper back and arms, an entire upper body workout actually and core!
    Strengthening your back has many benefits including improved posture, ability to perform other compound movements with less risk of injuries, and better form.
    There are 5 exercises, with each performed for 30 seconds and straight into opposite side of single arm otherwise we have a 30 second rest if double arm! We will complete 3 full rounds of each exercise.
    Single arm row (15kg)
    Renegade row (15kg)
    Pullovers (15kg)
    Supine single arm row (8kg)
    Preacher curls (8kg)
    I have included above the weights I used for reference. I used 2 different weight however you could use 1 dumbbell if somewhere in the middle! Bands can also be used for this back workout!
    Here are a few points to remember!
    Complete same number of reps per side, even if you finish earlier on second side!
    During renegade rows, try to keep hips as steady as possible!
    During preacher curls, try not to straighten your arm fully as this is applying a lot of tension at elbow to lift.
    Lets hit this back workout with dumbbells!

    This is amazing!
    Love the instructions in the beginning! It's also great that you can hear the timer easily, you can easily see if it's rest time or work time, the music is motivating and you're showing the exercise again before the next round starts in case people forgot - all of these things (+the fact that it's a great workout) make it very easy to follow
    You've clearly put a lot of work into this💪

I have been trying out ur exercises ( only dumbbells and bodyweight because I m personally not a fan of hiit and cardio exercise ) i got to tell ya I feel strong day by day. Love you loads💖

    Back and Biceps. I used 12.5kg and 7.5kg Dumbbells. Loved it, I added a Dumbbell cardio workout to intensify everything. ❤💥

    Firstly, thank you for another great workout! And, what a surprise, I have a question 😅 so all my life my right was dominant - starting with the small daily tasks, ending with carrying bags, I always used my right hand. Obviously, I expected that side be stronger, but when my muscles became more visible, seems that left side is bit more defined. How can I fix this imbalance - is it by doing more reps/heavier weights with my right or quite in reverse? Thank you!

      Hello Lina! I would make sure you always do same reps per arm when performing single arm reps... also when planning for example and coming up to upright plank on hands, always switch the hand you lower with and lift with!! Cx

    Upped my weights and ended up increasing each set, 15, 17.5, and 20 lbs and even 15, 20, 25 on a few! Definitely a great back and bicep burn!

    Hello mam! Your workouts are amazing.... I get exhausted after performing your workouts and I love that👌♥️✌.... But I have one request🤞... Can you please make a 15-20 minutes video only on back workout with dumbbells(upper and lower back both included) because I am not able to target my lower back with workouts I am currently performing and I don't get enough time to perform upper and lower back workouts separately due to my tight schedule.

    ✅9/5 - Didn't feel well this morning but I'm determined to complete as least one workout today. I used 15lbs and 10lbs for preachers curls.
    ✅8/22 - Hubby and my weekly back and biceps workout. 20lbs-15(last 2rounds 20)-15(last round 20)-15-15. Now to one of your arms workout. 💪
