love Natalie but sorry, Karun has nailed it!
Love and have loved McLaren all of my 62 years.
So pleased for Lando and the team but, I want to watch them fighting for the win, not dominating!
    Level the playing field!
Allow more time between regulation changes. Allow teams time to update their correlations with their track time, wind tunnel and CFD.
Give us racing not global politics.
    We've been here before!
It starts to get competitive then...
The battle between Max and Lewis that should have been, has been lost to change!
    F1 is a strange sport!
We want our gladiators on four wheels ,"Lando", battling each other for best part of hour and a half, who cares who wins. Best man wins on the day!
    True racing fans 😁!
Delay the regulation change please F.I.A. 🥰

This is similar to motogp last week when Quartararo got third place during sprint race (got taken away after penalty) on his slow Yamaha. People argued that he was lucky bc many riders in front of him crashed themselves out. Well, he didnt crash. So kudos to him.

Pinkham needs to make up her mind. You want closer racing but you also want the regs to change so Redbull doesn't dominate. Can't have both. Karun is right...they should delay the regs by a year or two. Mostly because we're already into May and they haven't agreed on the full framework yet. Just postpone it and let us enjoy the racing with these ground effects cars.

@@bsrbck I'm a fan of the sport, good Sir, but Mercedes fell out of your mouth at least 3 times in your reply for some strange reason, even though I said nothing about them. Nowhere did I say I'm a fan of any one team or driver or that I wished Redbull's dominance to continue.
The longer the regs remain stable or unchanged, the more the teams and the cars' performance will converge, which is why for example we had such great racing in '21 when RB was able to catch MB.
Right now the new '26 regs are far from being finalized, they cannot yet agree on things like size and weight and percentage of electrification, and we're only 18 months away, which is hardly enough time for the teams to start planning and putting things in place. This is why a delay might make sense; not so that your beloved Mercedes can get a chance to be on top again.

IMO there's only 2 drivers coming into F1 for 2025, Bearman and Antonelli, and there's likely to be at least 2 leaving, Zhou and Sargeant & maybe more. Yes, he might end up missing out on a seat at Red Bull or Sauber, but I think Haas or Alpine would always be open for him

As someone who has attended the race at COTA numerous times and European races, the ticket prices for Vegas and Miami are just ridiculous for what you get. COTA isn’t cheap, but you can still get grandstand seats for ~$700 a piece. And unlike Miami, the elevation changes actually makes decent GA viewing possible. Miami (and even Vegas) has the potential to a good race for the foreseeable future, but the complete focus on VIP guests is just sad, while normal people paying thousands bake in the grandstand. At minimum, more shade and cooling areas need to be considered for regular ticket holders. And the miserable heat and lack of shade isn’t isolated to Miami, it was 90 degrees at COTA during the sprint last year, and tents were so crowded that it was just as hot in there. The “show” isn’t the problem, as good racing is still occurring, it just highlights how little regard is shown to regular race attendees, whether it’s no shade, too few bathrooms, concessions that run out a couple hours into the day, or missing 10-15 laps waiting in line to buy a drink… all of which you can count on when attending a race in the grandstands/GA (At least in the US). Then again, Maybe my perspective is jaded because I know what it’s like to attend races that aren’t overly commercialized “shows.”(which is what Vegas and Miami are, quality of racing aside)

The statistics say that McLaren's upgrade brought .4 sec/lap. At a 50 lap race that's 20 seconds. And hell who knows, maybe the Mclaren doesn't suit Miami and Miami will turn out to be one of their worse or average tracks. Maybe at a traditional circuit there "upgrades", I mean it's essentially a new b-spec car, will really shine. Or could be that Miami is the perfect track for the new Mclaren. Time will tell but it's exciting. The 1 thing I saw that is SUPER SUPER encouraging is that Mclaren is known to burn up tires and in Miami they had the best tire deg out of anybody. I mean Lando was faster than Max on 27 lap old mediums when max had brand new hards. That NEVER happened previously. Exciting times

Just like he did with Checo last year after Checo won in Baku, and Max went on to destroy Checo for the remainder of the season. It is reported that after Baku Max swor that Checo wouldn't beat him again.
Having said that, if the McLaren upgrades are working well, Red Bull as a team, not just Max, need to step up their game, to ensure the majority of the victories this year will come their way. 😂😂😂😂 oh boy, SKYSPORTS DELUSION are running wild 😂😂😂😂 McLaren WC contenders after 1 win, the 2nd win in 12….years …. 😂
And Lando won cos he had the free pitstop cos of the SC …
Lando himself said at the press conf that otherwise he wouldn’t have won cos he would’ve had to overtake Ferraris and Red Bulls…
So Skysports, please get back to reality….

The headline is bad - but maybe just hear the podcast and don't only comment on the headline? Because nobody really talked about them being a title contender. They just think it might be possible to be in the fight on other tracks. And also said we don't know anything after just one race.
Also, who knows. RedBull will likely win these titles, but maybe not like last year. Ferrari is not too far away and will get updates too. McLaren is clearly a little closer.
Btw, your 'smileys' really make you look like a twelve year old. So well done!

Sorry Natalie but educating people that trolling is a nasty practice and they shouldn't do it, is the same as telling people they shouldn't murder yadda yadda people are still going to do it. The real focus has to be about instilling mental fortitude and strength to deal with it, not keep pathologizing everyone as suffering mental health issues and mentally fragile. As each consecutive generation goes through less and less real character developing adversity they have to keep finding it in things like typed words.

I’m not trying to be mean but, are ACTUAL, LIVE hamsters powering the F1 academy cars? Asking for the vegans out there.
I say this because after watching the race, these are NOT ‘girls’ like I thought, analogous to the young teens in F2 and F3…these are full fledged women, aged in their 20s and on even terms age-wise with the F1 men. So, a little more power? Let’s not treat them like girls and more like women? Maybe an F2 spec? Admittedly, I’m a fairly new convert from NASCAR to F1 so maybe I’m missing something here. I’m not too smart just a good old southern boy with a beer in one hand and a shotgun in the other so what is it? Is it because they did NOT grow up karting like the boys? Or did they? I’m only vaguely familiar with the F1 pipe line.

For those critics in Europe who think the USA shouldn't have three Grand Prix ... how many Grand Prix are held in Europe? Nine? It's an area with roughly the same population and GDP as the U.S. and gets three times as many races as America. Or if you want to consider North American races we get five versus Europe's nine. Still almost two to one.
