Newcomen Steam Engine

This brilliant clip from the Industrial Revelations series looks at one of the early Newcomen Steam Engines built for the Earl of Dudley's coal mines. I usually get my student to watch it and then jot down 5 facts in silence. They then have two minutes to share their facts with other students and add to their list with the aim of having a list of 10 facts which we then feedback to the class.
