NitroPack Setup & Settings To Go From 15 To 98 On Mobile On Google Pagespeed Insights

The NitroPack setup and settings are pretty straightforward. They have 4 different levels of presets. You pick one of them, save and NitroPack optimizes and caches your site's pages based on the preset you chose.
In this tutorial I use the Ludicrous preset and the results are pretty stellar. If something on my site broke when I set NitroPack to Ludicrous I would have tried a lower-tier optimization setting to see if that fixed it, but everything was fine on Ludicrous.
There is also a manual setting which lets you pick exactly how you want to optimize your site.
And, last but not least, there is a free account. You can use the free account on sites that have 5,000 pageviews per month or fewer. When you exceed that amount then you need to upgrade to a paid plan.

I would love to know what this plugin is doing ... I have WProcket running and getting a D at best on gmetrix .. i did try Nitro.. and got a A or B ... and mobile sky rockets from 6 zu 80 on google.. The main problem i have with it is the cost.... if you have good traffic on your website ... its not cheap! 50 dollar per month for me.

Thanks Steve, I'm happy to help. Now that we've found the "easy" way to do it, it's great for the first 5,000k pageviews per month. But I find the pricing a little steep. So I'm working on getting similar results by using code in the WP files. That'll be scalable and free :)

That is crazy... I've tried various other optimization plug ins on my site.... but this one took me from 5% on mobile (yes 5%) and 50% on Desktop ... without ANY setting changes... to a staggering 93% and 100%, respectively.... and this is on the Free version. In a few minutes I went from days upon days (over 12 hrs. per day) of optimizing to being "Optimized in Minutes". I have wasted so much time with the Hummingbird and never getting close to being done in maybe 5-12 minutes and that was with watching and following the video. I am about to do the same thing on a couple other site which will probably take me 5 minutes. With Hummingbird I never even got close to the results I got in minutes! I cannot believe how many days and hours I spent trying to optimize with Hummingbird. This APP is AMAZING!!! THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!!!

Whoa! I work with SEO and I honestly have never seen a plugin have an impact so easily on a Google Page Speed like that! It went from 29 on mobile to 89; on Desktop it went from 70 to 100!!!! Thanks a lot!

Hello, Thank you for this video. I tried to install the Nitropack plugin on a client website and it wouldn't allow me to because it says "Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error." What should I do next?
Your tutorial videos are great resource for wp users, as always. Hence the reason for thumbs up and likes. Quick question, using Nitropack in parallel with Cloudflaire basic, is it overkill? Shouldn't it be one or the other?

Thanks for your help. My site speed in mobile was 36. After following your method it came to 87 on mobile and 100 on Desktop. I am really very much happy with the results. Nitropack has skipped, redirected and timed out some pages. kindly let me know how to optimize those pages once again.

So fare so good it has made a dramatic change to my PageSpeed. One question, on the optimization page, on the home page line it say "Redirected" under status. If I hoover over it, a little window comes up and says "301 The server responded with a temporary redirect." Do you know why it would say this and how I might fix it? So I believe my home page is not getting optimized.

So I installed Nitro did everything that you have done my scores are wonderful but for 1st-time users to the site it takes over 30 records for the pages to load and on mobile nothing will load until you scroll. Am I doing something wrong?

On my website i used IP2 redirection plugin where i redirect users based on their country, now the problem is when i install nitropack plugin and when configure it the redirection plugin stop working i can't redirect my visitor to website based on their countries.
So what is the possible solution for that? I even installed wprocket but doesn't get any solutions.

the scores increased perfectly, but I noticed that on mobile, the images load in much later and it seems when clicking on a link on the homepage upon refresh, it wouldnt register. The link would work after scrolling for a bit and then clicking a 2nd time.

You have deactivate W3 and Cloudflare first. NitroPack does the same job as both of them. If you install NitroPack and still have them running then NitroPack will probably ask you to deactivate them.
very good tutorial, although my site exploded as I used this plugin. Both for small and large. Unfortunately, I can't deal with it. Me site have 7 page rank... sad
Another fantastic tutorial thanks Bjorn. This plugin is incredible and very impressive. But typical, my luck, i have a problem - We could not find any links for warming up on your home page. The support of their website isn't helpful either. So maybe you could work your magic?

Hi Guys, I disabled lightspeed plug in and installed Nitropack free. My mobile speed score is still at 62 my desktop speed is in the 90s. Any suggestions?
Have you found out how to exclude scripts? I have a script for a cookiebot and html code running for this aswell ´. This will ask the visitor which cookies they want to be tracked. But after nitro pack install that script wont load and will not show the pop up banner with the choices

On the settings tab in the NitroPack dashboard there is a setting called "Excluded Resources (Images, JavaScript, CSS, etc.)". In there you can exclude the resources that your cookiebot requires. You'll be able to find the resource URLs by viewing the source of your homepage.

After NitroPack free version my site has 100/100 on Page Speed Insights. GTmetrix 100/100 also. Nothing broken, no special settings. I keep WP Optimize plugin just for clean database and history also.

Cloudflare integration isn’t required for great results. I don’t have a walk through tutorial for that yet I’m afraid.

However, my speed on mobile seems to get stuck on 34 only. Do you have any suggestions on what should I do to improve it?

That’s a great site speed improvement for desktop, great work! If you’re using Nitropack, go to the Optimizations tab in your account and make sure that the mobile version has been cached in Nitropack. Sometimes the desktop version is optimized and cached and mobile isn’t. Delete the mobile cache that didn’t work and it will try again in a few minutes.

After purging the cache in NitroPack the PSI score suddenly got dropped. Can you tell me what happened? and is it only working on Elementor and not in the other Page Builder?
