Chrissakes. I played this as a kid-the Amiga version ported to Mac OS 9. You'd think a full keyboard would make moving easier, but I had to read an FAQ just to figure out how to TURN AROUND.

I didn't know they ported this to consoles later. Certainly looks a lot worse than the Amiga version - probably like half the colors. And the final boss also one more stage in the original: when he is pissed, there is no way of killing him with the sword any more. You have to have a full stock of potions - which act like smart bombs in the Amiga version - to off him quickly once he turns angry, so that maybe he only kills you _once_ before you are able to beat him.

I played the shit out of this game on the Amiga500 back in the days. I loved it so badly back then and omg was it difficult haha.

This game is a travesty, I've been playing all day and can't figure out what I'm doing right and wrong. Played probably 30 games of it and got to the second level only twice. Terrible controls. Repetitive sound effects and gameplay. How could they release this?
EDIT: A month later, I beat the game, after many tries. 3 lives, normal difficulty. As bad as this game is, I like it. I'll drink Lavender-grey Etherium potion until the fading light of day, brandishing my Flaming Brand into the Foyer in the Castle Cragganmoor.
