Anyone paying fake people to post needs to stop. I don't care what good reason they might have - it dilutes the experience. People don't need to be facing opinions that do not exist.

I read an article by a guy who works in corporate finance. He estimated twitter was worth about $13B - $14B just before Elon bought it for....$44B. And most of that is on a credit card with payments due every quarter. and since then ad revenue has plummeted. This thing is an albatross around his financial neck at the moment. I hope it sinks him!!

Cisgendered is a normal term of biology assigned gender. However, the term is is used by radical liberal/lgbt community as a rude slur on normal people. So banning it on Twitter is a sad reflection on our times when we have to ban normal words due to social groups with agenda manipulating them. Perhaps removing both conservative rude slurs and liberal rude slurs on Twitter might make people and the diolouge more moderate over time.
cis on it's own isn't banned. It is if someone asks you to not call them cis and you continue to do so targeted and repeatedly, then it is considered a slur.
Well of course it is more contentious. When only one opinion is allowed, there's no contention.
Elon has publicly spoken about his father, being a bad person, and a DarthVader-like figure. His behavior and public commentary makes this is a very credible representation of his family experience. Part of his drive and his brilliance is the pathology in which he grew up in. These dual aspects of who is cannot be separated.
In my opinion, there are aspects of the human condition and social reality which he is unable to comprehend with appropriate objectivity. Paradoxically speaking, he is unable to foresee the consequences of his social human actions, and yet is visionary regarding energy and technology. Again, they are two sides of the same coin.
bullsh1t. Humans are not so dumb af they cannot learn humility and get over themselves. Musk just doesn't want to. It's a choice, not social conditioning. How do we know this? Because plenty of people from the same background as Musk chose humility instead. That's not to say it is easy to escape one's upbringing (rich dude camel eye needle), just that it is possible and that social darwininst conditioning is a myth, or if you like a fallacy of averages.
