I have Sarcoidosis including the heart, skin, lacrimal gland, jaw, both lower legs causing peripheral neuropathy, lymph nodes, biceps. I am taking Methotrexate 25mg and Humira 60mg. I was born, raised and live in Australia 🇦🇺, where Sarcoidosis is considered rare. I have dual cornea full thickness transplants due to kerecotonous over 20 rears ago The cornea transplants started to reject around the same time I started having other health issues in 2016. Was tested for MS, in 2018 thankfully negative, finally diagnosed in late 2020 from biopsy of left eye lid which was almost swollen shut and full of small lumps, was thought to be cellulite, biopsy tested positive to sarcoidosis. Other skin lesion on the face were biopsied and found to be sarcoidosis. I have had six repeat DMEKS on my right eye and repeat full thickness on left eye. NO medical professional that I have seen can confirm the sarcoidosis has caused the transplants to reject, one specialist has suggested the cornea transplants most likely CAUSED the Sarcoidosis. All very confusing really. Just wondering If Dr Christine Jellis has an Australian accent ??

I have Pulmonary Sarcoidosis in both lungs have already developed fibrosis. In process of getting Heart sarcoidosis work up. I’m in California and not feeling so confident in the doctors here. Only the second patient in my area so very concerned with getting my care. My Dr. Hasn’t start therapy yet and I’m struggling daily. Only put me on a nebulizer w/albuterol & Ipratropium. Not getting any relief.
