Isn't the whole building 13 floors or so? What will happen to it?

IAmNotAFunguy 7-13 were closed to public few years ago
1-6 are open but the store is closing in september
will be converted to hotels and apartments.

IAmNotAFunguy Yeah it kind of sucks because this was my most favorite department store I had ever been to. I think one half is being converted into a hotel and the other is going to be apartments or condos.

IAmNotAFunguy It's being turned in to retail dining and overpriced apartments. Macy's was going to stay and occupy the first 4 floors, but decided last minute that they were gonna close all together.

      It wasn't Macys that decided
they were told they couldn't be there during the construction.

I think it's total bullshit that they had to kick them out.
