Algorithms learn via reinforcement, they anticipate on what it thinks u want to read. U end up inside a little box of confirmation bias. For example if your initial position was supporting Gaza and not putting any effort in understanding and researching the position of Israel. U will never come across information on the web to broaden ur understanding of the position of Israel. It’s pretty obvious that Hamas is cornered. But they got an advantage! Civilians are by far Hamas’ greatest weapon which they’ve exploited immensely gaining support in West hence the endless rallies in our cities and now in campuses. We cannot deny the fact that despite Palestinians worsening conditions they wouldn’t pass a blame nor withdraw support to Hamas. The entire Gaza Strip has just 2.2 million and Rafah doesn't have over half of them even b4 the current op. 150,000 plus have evac'd already so IF it had half, 1.1 million, now it has less than 1,000,000 and more r evacuating each hour. Israel is occupying Rafah, only the Rafah crossing and a few thousand feet towards the Mediterranean Sea along the Egypt-Gaza border in the suburbs outside Rafah and their focus seems to be the Philadelphia corridor a strip of border land without residences.
All these # s being through aroudn are estimates... no census is being taken daily and the situ is fluid. They are best guesses or outright propaganda.
