- Recently the Saint Piran cycling team had their first get together of 2021. All Covid compliant and with an elite Sports Exemption from the authorities.
It was a good 3 days of brushing up on skills that have been neglected over the past 12 months. We had a few leg stretchers in the shape of lead out drills, through and off and for those that rode on the Monday an endurance ride around Cornwall. This video focuses on day 2, with insight from the team car and feedback from the riders.

Nice to see this type of video and get some insight into the team. Hopefully this year will get underway properly soon, so there'll be more reasons for more of this. :)

Really good video. As a complete newbie to the cycling race world, great to get an insight into training etc. From an outsider you think its just mile after mile of riding. Never thought about training for mechanicals etc etc. Yet its so obvious you would need to. Great Video.

Something very strange going on here, it involves people giving lampire and riccy 2.5k to be in a race team with no sponsorship, but lampire has a jag? Lol Do the teams shorts fit properly?

Love the fact the is a Cornish team love following but where is the female team? There are loads of amazing females ridding all different terrain where are they?
Saint Piran do have a women’s team as well. They ride in a light blue kit.
I too raised this but am assured (see above), that Chris is on to this apparent imbalance.
A great idea and very well made.
Two points. (1) I don't see any women. (2) When is this ridiculous no-mitts fashion going to end? Wait till you've had a palm full of gravel and glass... and bugger the tan lines.
There is a Saint Piran Women’s team as well. Likely doing their own team camp at some point.
