I’m a big fan of Brueggemann, but he talks a lot about white privilege, which doesn’t exist now. He also refers to the acceptance of sexual perversion as if it’s progressive. When it is actually one of the rocks on which we are perishing. It would also have been good if he elucidated on who has “purchased the government”
Oh, if only Christians would listen to the prophetic voice of Brueggemann. I thank God every day for him and his insights.
This is a great lesson for Christians who whine and say that “we are the most persecuted people in America.” What a load of nostalgia for the 50’s.
