An Imam, a Priest and a Rabbi join a conversation... and they handle it eloquently, respectfully and as civilised people. We need more conversations like this, and more frequently. People need reminders that, in the end, we are all... people.
Alhamdulillah I had the privilege of watching this conversation a thought-provoking and passionate discussion between leaders of three different religions. The dialogue was rich in diversity and beauty, with each speaker eloquently presenting their faith’s perspectives. However, what stood out to me most was the contribution of Imam Omar. Imam Omar managed to distill complex ideas into simple, understandable concepts, making the beauty of Islam accessible to everyone present. His approach was calm, respectful, and deeply rooted in the principles of peace that Islam embodies. He emphasized that Islam is not just a religion but a way of life that values truth, compassion, and understanding. What impressed me the most was how he encouraged everyone to research and learn more about Islam on their own, fostering an environment of curiosity and open-mindedness. His presentation was not just informative but also inspiring, leaving a lasting impression on me. Alhamdulillah, I am truly grateful for the knowledge and wisdom he shared.

As a Muslim I respect the Christian, never seen a humble pastor or father.
I'm currently seeking the truth. I was looking at Islam, then cristianity now Judaism. I thought out of the there Islam was least convincing however I just researched that Jesus spoke Aramaic and the name god in Aramaic is Allah. But then Islam came way after Judaism and cristianity Can someone explain this please?
Allah is literal translation of the word GOD in arabic/aramiac language and can I please ask what were the problem you faced while researching islam, maybe ill be able to help you understand.
In Islam, it’s believed that the original messages of Judaism and Christianity were the « right » one. We believe it was not properly preserved but we also believe that the original groups of people that got the message believed correctly. We believe « the problem » if we may say was in the preservation of the text. The Torah was written 700 to 1200 years after the revelation to Moses peace be upon him, there was an oral transmission but with big gaps (sometimes 300 years without oral transmission). The first bible was written 300 years after the revelation to Jesus peace be upon him, and was written in Greek. So the Bible that was copied could not be the original one delivered to Jesus in Aramaic. And finally, Islam may have come lastly but we believe it’s the final revelation that Allah sent us and that wasn’t altered since it’s the last one. The oral tradition of preservation of the Quran and the written copies are all the same since the time Mohamed peace and blessing be upon him received it. In Islam which means submission to Allah we believe that all prophets from Adam to Mohamed (including Moses, Isaac, Jesus and all peace be upon them) were Muslims (submitted to one and unique God). Please excuse my language mistakes since English is not my mother tongue.

I really enjoyed this debate throughout. I really welcome the compassionate, accepting and understanding approach that i think all 3 faith leaders took. What i will say though, as somebody raised in the pentecostal church, the Imam stood out to me in a beautiful way. His reference to scripture, depth and knowledge of faith and his ability to break down barriers and preconceived ideas surrounding Islam was nothing short of beautiful.

As a Muslim, One thing about the Quran that is also critical - is that the Quran came down for ALL of humanity, for all of Mankind. The Quran will very often address us literally as “oh Mankind”, so it’s not only for people who identify as “Muslim”. Yes, for Muslims the Quran is our text that we should live by but the Quran is not restricted to Muslims. It’s for all of humanity, especially those who feel lost in life like they need to find a purpose.

according to great Mohamad in Quran, Muslims are updated version of Christians. They accept Christianity fully by Jesus. The difference later was created by Islamic and Christian politicians to separate people. Muslims do fasting, not eating pork and circumcision of boys according to Jewish religion.
