By the way, this talk contains a fascinating little historical aside in the speaker’s oblique reference to the publication of ‘The Bell Curve’ “last week” he says, an event that I’m assuming drove him to the critical/sociological efforts that are what brought him to the attention of English majors like me. Fascinating post, well done!
