Central London? Absolutely! Some of us are looking from the outside, and realizing the incredible change London has undergone for cycling in the last generation. I'm enjoying and envying every bit you share. Thank You!
Some Central London routes would be good, especially if they start/finish at one of the big mainline railway termini. Those of use that don't live in/around London will often be getting off at Marylebone or St Pancras or Waterloo, so routes from those to places 10-15 minutes cycle ride away are handy for visit planning.
Amwell St is named afer Amwell Springs, the start at the north end of the New River, which is on a the NCN61 cycle route from Hertford to Ware. If you ever do a Hertfordshire cycle routes set of videos, it's one to include as it's a fab ride along the waterside for 3 miles. Indeed anyone wanting a nice cycle route across Herts accessible from London could easily get the Thamseslink train to St Albans, do the Alban Way to Hatfield and then on via Welwyn GC to Hertford and Ware, then Greater Anglia train back to Liverpool st.
@@Londoncycleroutes definately but I enjoy the occasional carve so quite like a bit of width. đ I really like the older buildings around that part of London, central/west.
for Liverpool St > holborn, the City has an LTN of sorts planned for a good distance between those two places hopefully going in this year, so I intend to use that when it goes in. would near Holborn tube or near Chancery Lane tube be more helpful for you? @@MonticArckeys
Did I see you on the pedestrianised area of the Strand on Thursday evening, or just someone that looked a bit like you? Also - I wouldn't mind at all seeing more Central London routes. But I watch every video anyway, even if I live nowhere near it.
@@goawayimsleeping509 hah, that's funny - shame it's shutting, apparently they're looking for a new location but the whole point was that it was that the building was a bit of a mess imo
Nice little route. Just out of interest I usually travel in from the West Mids into Marylebone and occasionally like to visit Borough Market. Is there a good route between Marylebone station and the market opposite Borough tube station? It would make a change to cycle above ground and see the sights rather than mess around underground connecting trains. đ đ đ
Haha I did think this⊠angel is still vaguely central but north central. Further up the street to Highbury and youâre no longer in central for sure

Thatâs brilliant, glad youâre enjoying!
Lovely route. I lived and worked round there for years.
Itâs a really nice bit of town, thanks for watching!
Some more of these shorter, more central route videos would be great. And as someone else said, routes around mainline stations would be handy too.
Gotcha! Good plan

Yes good plan on railway station!
Really enjoyed that fact about river street! It's also been great to learn about different parts of the city through the videos
I try and slip a few facts in!
Another masterpiece
Thank you for watching!!

Thatâs a great fact, I didnât know that! Nice one
@1:36 those parking spaces at the start of a cycle lane are seriously dangerous ... plenty of London boroughs are guilty of the same mistake
Itâs a very bad place for parking yeah - I think one of them is a single yellow line but no good out of hours
I think having a mix between central london and suburban london is a good idea, keeps things different!
Good to know!
More central London routes would be great!
Coming right up!
Great video!
Thank you!

reckon those lanes are wide enough for you to board in or na?

Liverpool Street or Stratford to Holborn would be great to see
Good idea Iâll see what I can do!
@@Londoncycleroutes lovely stuff, thank you! Looking to do this route but anxious about cycling in London

That would have been me! Was trying to get into India club for one last time before they shut down but it was a 1hr+ wait so we gave up

@@goawayimsleeping509 probably lol, it sounds like a landlord issue though they clearly have no shortage of custom!
Angel to Paddington would be great. Iâm never sure how best to avoid Euston Road and the East-West links in north central London arenât great.
Iâd probably take the canal to be honest for this one- not ideal but thereâs not a great way across Marylebone yet (you could go C27)
Another great video & route đ did you use part of the c41 cycle route.
Oh yes it seems I did! I actually didnât notice that theyâd given this one a number, well spotted
Despite being slightly trafficky, C41 takes you down Lambs Conduit St. which is just gorgeous.

Itâs not perfect but Iâd take C27, C6, then south of the river turn left into C14- I should do more routes to borough market though!
So, where does central London ends and north London begins.
