Shadow of the colossus was my jaam, and NFS started my obsession with all things automotive. What an awesome playlist

We making it off the 8MB memory card with this one!! 🌐💫🌙✨
crazy how all my saved games used to be on one, 8MB is nothing today
@@scirazzbrehh 8mb was still pretty low back in the days. We used 8mb mostly for backups or tradings saves.

Jungle music, it sounds like the future that could have been, yet still can be if we fight for it.
Gen X fumbled when it was their time. Now we get to build the future we want.
Mix jungle tracks here and now. Bootleg Flstudio if you have to. Why wait for others to build the future? That's how it got that way in the first place.
Eh, everything that goes mainstream becomes bastardized and sanitized.
Just look at the og dubstep scene, it got prostitute and sold for money.
@@w1ck3dz0d1ac The future is NOW! 😂
FIGHT WHAT?? OH YEAH THE POLICE COMING TO MY HOUSE BECAUSE I JUST TOOK ALL THE PILLS I HAD ON ME AND THRASHED MY COUCH? THAT FIGHT?? CUZ IM READY, GOT THIS BLARING AND TAPPED UP THE OLD MITTS. MIGHT AS WELL RAIL THIS LAST LINE, LETS GO!!

man I'm 25 and I feel old for having played Underground 2 and Tekken 3 as a kid, it was a nostalgic era that I feel like will never be topped
29, same games,same feelings :')
im 31 and tekken 3 has to be my favourite OST ever for a game the music was so ahead of the time
fond memories cruising on underground2 well over a decade ago now. much love.
26 n seeing this filled me with much joy and sadness for days long gone and memories forever strong
Same age, same games 🖖
Are you kidding me? This is literally the best playlist ever. I just had a huge nostalgia trip while simultaneously feeling like in a 2000 sci-fi movie
Fr I’m sitting here reminiscing on all these dope games I grew up on while listening to a new genre of music I never even knew existed 🔥🔥
Definitely. This is the only mix I've heard for a while that I'm genuinely enjoying.

NFS Underground 2 was insane how much content there was and how many things to tune. Awesome dnb comp.
Thanks bro! :)
They dont make games like these anymore
Y2K era games just had a certain vibe
Frfr
💯
man, being born in 1995, i had two older brothers. may they both RIP.
i use to play rainman any chance i got, tho once resident evil 1 came out that was it, ps1 was never mine to touch again x D
I miss watching my brothers rage over alex the kidd, the helicopter mission use to make my brother create noises only a priest would understand.
This era of gaming is so nostalgic and with this music it feels like a dream. Companies used to come up with the craziest ideas to make games while now it's almost all the same except for a few cases. Very nice playlist ❤
Right on, once things like microtransactions and the whole pay to win mindset took off there was no going back. :(
Devs can't even release finished games now
@@RavenGuardianYep, you literally just listed everything wrong with gaming today. A moment of silence for the golden age of video games 😔
PS1-PS3 Era ✨
@@w0rx1 yep, it's all for money, no passion in the crafting, just make whatever something that can give money. Even companies caring for money back then, they couldn't release patches or fixes, the way the game was shipped it would stay like that till the end of humanity inside a cd, so they did with all passion and professionalism. It's all a joke nowadays compared to the divine times in the gaming world back then. They made sure to the best artistic, creative and well engineered games of all time.
It was more creative and experimental time, nowadays they just love making the shittiest games ever with the most ultimate realistic graphics, full of bugs, glitches and errors. Back then games had much more simple graphics because technology (chips,cpus...) costed much more and had super limited capacities for realistic graphics, plus having to make the technology affordable for everyone..., the games weren't so complicated, but still sophisticated for their times because of the novelty.
Music like this really makes me wanna leave everything and live an alternative lifestyle from everything ive known
do it
do it
do it
I like that the drumming actually sounds realistic and could be played by an actual drummer.
I have an incredible appreciation for the fact that the Gran Turismo track is paired with footage from the game, and the "START" banner is synced up with the drop
Oh sweet mercy, this playlist should be a controlled substance
a lovely mix, thanks for including mine and Nuphory's tune
No way, the legend himself! Thank you! Your vids actually inspired me to make this mix. :)
You're everywhere man, its sick as fuck
DUDE WAHT THE SHIP I DIDN'T SEXPECT THIS ONE! JUST GOT SO JAZZBLASTED I ACCIDENTYLY TOOK LAL THE PILLS I HAD ON ME! MIGHT BE A BIT BRASH BUT OH WELL IF MY HEART DON'T STOP TONIGHT MIGHT BE THE NIGHT I FALL FOR YOU!! WATCH ME. OOPS JUST THRASHED MY ENTIRE COUCH, FLATMATE CALLED THE TROOPS ON ME, I HEAR SIRENS. LETS GO ONE FINAL FIGHT AND THIS WILL BE THE BACKGROUND MUSIC!! COME AND GET SOME PIGGIES
The early 2000s is underrated.
golden age of gaming. great aesthetic designs too. though Y2K is definitely being recognized right now by Gen A and zoomers.
HOLY SHIT THE VISUALS AND MUSIC BRING BACK MY CHILDHOOD . my heart !!!!
Thanks for listening!
I'm nearly 30. I played the first need for speed on ps1 and have grown up with this music. Such nostalgia watching and listening to this
Perfect mix for driving
I absolutely lost my mind seeing Sega Bass Fishing thrown in the mix. I feel like that game, along with all the others belonging to the genre, are so overlooked.
The breadth of games you included here really strengthens the demonstration of how impactful drum and bass was to video games for a period of time.
watching this at 12 AM while being sleep deprived feels weirdly good lol
Whoooa!,....right around the 9:50 mark -Goosebumps! The combo of Jungle, DnB, with the PS2 footage is perfect. BO SELECTA!!
the atmosphere is insane
I think you've inspired me to create something more or less similar

37:45 i like how it crossfaded
some feelings cannot be expressed by words .. just early 2000 ... So lucky I grew up there with you guys.
i love this intro already
When the colossal hits the ground and then beat drops… the timing 🔥🔥🔥
The visuals was perfectly choosen for the music, this is DEFINITELY a piece of art
This got no reason being this drippy
Bionicles? This is outstanding
Brings me back to the earliest days of internet radio, tuning in on WinAmp to the jungle and drum & bass channels while playing PC games on CD. The sound of disc drives and hard drives spinning up in the background. What a time.
It was an amazing mix and you even added the time cuts like a boss. Dope visuals too. Appreciate the content brother
I appreciate you! Thanks for listening! :)
Big inspiration!

this mix goes absolutely crazy, the transitions are so so good
that timing at 9:48 is perfect. i refuse to believe that wasnt planned
The most refreshing music I’ve heard in a while. How’s everyone doing! Have an amazing day! 😄😄😄
balls are itching
Thanks, you too!
oh man i cant believe you put shadow of the colossus in the visual edit. best game ever
This is what my summer was missing.
love the playstation background... nostalgic
When I was listening to this I glanced up and noticed the gameplay was on Kingdom Hearts. This just brought back this memory about when I was in middle school, and this newish kid and I would talk to each other sometimes. I think this one conversation we had must have been about games- specifically PS3 games I think, because he just straight up gave me his copy of Kingdom Hearts since I probably mentioned I had a PS3 and was using it often at the time. I mean, we didn't know each other that well but we have had several conversations together before, but it's so wild he just gave me this game- said he doesn't use the disk anymore. But this was years ago, and I had completely forgotten his name. Feels weird since I didn't know him too well but just the fact that we didn't really come up with a way to keep in touch feels like a loss to me. Makes me feel even more remorseful since he gave me this game simply over a mere mutual interest. I only played a little a long time ago and still am overall unfamiliar with Kingdom Hearts. I think I ought to go give it another try, and heck- potentially add another thing to one of my hyper fixations.
love the Basshunter64 screens.
This was nostalgic at the time, now it's double nostalgic😆
Growing up, seeing all these games back in 2006-2007, just such a great feeling.
I can remember almost all of them. and the beats are extremely reminiscent of those games OST's .
It almost doesn't make sense, it's like each track creator in this video played every single video game you mentioned.
Kingdom Hearts, Need For Speed Underground, Devil May Cry, Shadow of the Colossus (Arguably one of the first PS2 titles I ever saw), Gran Turismo (2007), I sincerely wish I experienced more of this era as a 2001 kid.
My childhood was filled with shitty school experiences that would take away all the summer fun memories I would get every year, kind of wish it wasn't like that, but I have no choice, you can't change fate (the past).
I like to think that I managed to barely touch what life was like "before social media", or when people who had social media were considered "quirky extra people" and all you needed was phone numbers and go out drinking a fresh cup of juice or coffee and cake, something like that.
I really don't get how YOU get it so well. All the tracks you gave convey that feeling.
But yet somehow, this type of music, wasn't quite "the thing" back then, unfortunately, unless you were playing a video game most people listened to rock bands and "gangsta rappers".
wow, watching the customization from NFS was gold
Coffee ☕️ Groovvy Vibes 🎵… ahhh enjoyed my _ethereal_ break. Let’s continue 🤝
alright boys, we're journeying to parts of the cosmos you never would've imagined
This is my whole childhood whaaaat the fuuuuuuhhhhhhhh
Need for speed U2, wow what a classic
holy nostalgia
Sickest mix ever the nostalgia is unreal
Thanks for listening! :)
The musics good, the game selection is goated
like everyone else, this is my favorite jungle mix
the first one with the windows 95 sound just kill everything
best music to listen, while doing math homework
Born in 96 this feels good man
Listening to this is giving me such a weird, but not bad feeling. Just sitting here thinking how different my life was being a kid, and this music + visuals is really helping me think about it and remember my feelings from back then. Great mix :)
"Pulsar One - Feel the Drums" sounds like "Killing Moon" Akuma stage in Street Fighter 3rd Strike :O
the music and underground 2 gameplay combined is awesome-sauce
that's good stuff
fantastic, even the old tracks on here sound like they are from the future. Fits together so well!
These tracks are still bangers. Reminds me of simpler times!
I listen to this while i work.
Thanks for listening! 🫶
Need for Speed Underground and Jungle Drum and Bass is something I never knew I needed.
that Jet Set Radio part was awesome both the cutscene and the music...lovely.
Glad you enjoyed! :)
i love this playlist so muchhhh ty man
Sniping while this is playing is fun
The underground 2 gameplay makes me so happy
i miss the 2000s...
Comunication skills unlocked
The Devil may cry gameplay 😭🔥 13:55
Next one I need is Dark Cloud, Ace Combat and pieces of the old Digimon games to just hit the perfect notes because OOF these mixes are so perfect.
Nostalgia train. Here I come!
Thank you. Thank you for putting dnb jungle instead of breakcore
i just smoked and now I'm crying from all the PlayStation nostalgia 🤧💙💙
The Bionicle section is amazing, well done. really capture the series.
oh man, NFS underground 2 is my whole childhood

Wow, this takes me back to when I was a kid playing on my ps2, good times man. This sorta music needs to come back to gaming
This mix is absolute FIRE! These tracks give warehouse party vibes, especially the LTJ rremix, and the games on display definitely hit nostalgia. 👊The mix is a banger altogether.

we can never go back. awesome mix
Fell asleep to this last night.
the music along with the visuals makes this a nostalgia bomb. freaking excellent mix
definitely the best DnB playlist I heard this year. It seems we love the same DnB and PS1/PS2 games aesthetics.
The way that Pizza Hotline's Startup Tune mixes into LTJ's Music is honestly so good I went hunting for that version of it until I realised it was your mix!
modern art
Translator make it from modern art to contemporary art lmao
Been having this on repeat the whole day today... some really ethereal and atmospheric selections here 🤍Thank you for sharing!
The sound of a world we desperately need. Smoked up to this and WOW!!
ive been a fan of breakcore for as long sd i can remember, i didnt know about jungle until recently and i gotta say its some of the best things to tune to when ur feeling sleepy or feeling the wind in ur face
No way, I was just playing NFS Underground 2, and looked for some playlist to listen to while playing. What a gem this set is, nostalgia hits different with this playlist. 😮
