- After paparazzi pictures of the Princess of Wales emerged on a US website this week, and more vile conspiracy theories hit social media, Kensington Palace was under greater pressure this week to reveal more about Catherine’s health. This argues Daily Mail Diary Editor Richard Eden amounts to ‘bullying’ that needs to stop.
Our panel also discuss whether the row between Kensington Palace and the Ministry of Defence over the princess’s appearance at Trooping the Colour in June was indeed a ‘conspiracy’.

Richard: 'just let her recover'. The voice of reason. I have yet to understand what makes anyone feel entitled to details about a private medical matter from someone who is not the current monarch. Idle curiousity is not enough. Does my day-to-day rest on what Catherine's medical status is? I resent the 'gone several months' when in actuality, it's gone several WEEKS, not several months to me. Many medical leaves are 12-16 weeks. Nothing at all unusual so intrusion should end so she can recover in peace.

When the late Queen awarded them titles they used the prominent one as a surname which was Cambridge. Then once Charles became King Prince William became the prince of Wales so now The Prince & Princess of Wales so now Catherine is addressed as Catherine Wales. Try addressing our royals correctly. I watched Loose Women this week & the consensus seemed to be that Kate should just tell the public & get them off her back in order to stop conspiracy theorists this didn't sit well with me at all. Princess Catherine is a wise young woman & has set some boundaries she's not interested in breaking. And l applaud her for guarding her privacy. It's her business, leave her alone.
It's like saying Meghan should do a photo shoot with the kids to prove they really exist and that the moonbump/surrogate conspiracy theory is untrue. The Loose Women panellists might be happy to bare all about their bodily functions and health issues, but that doesn't mean anyone else has to.

Prince Edward was born the same year as three other royal cousins: Lady Sarah Chatto, Lady Helen Taylor and James Ogilvy. Queen Elizabeth threw them a joint 18th birthday ball back in 1982 and the four of them posed for a well known portrait that night. It would be lovely to see them join for a group birthday moment again this year as they all turn sixty.

Rebecca recently made a reference to her age, and my jaw dropped! I truly thought she was perhaps 12-13 years younger. She has such a natural beauty and a bit of regal calmness about her. Not only is she well-spoken, but she also has an excellent, realistic grasp of the issues.

I am an American who lives in the States and we stopped doing the royal title thing over 200 years ago. With that being said, as an American I love the RF, especially Prince William, Princess Catherine and their beautiful children!! I will always be respectful of their titles❤🇺🇲🇺🇲

It's known she works out, which could cause a hernia.
She's either has an operation to repair a hernia or a prolapse.
It takes at least 5 weeks or more to recover from either of those operation.
My healthy and physically fit associate had highly risky, major abdominal surgery for a hiatal hernia: her recuperation was at least three months and she is still not completely recovered. Apparently it was "brutal".
Princess Catherine is entitled to privacy and is NOT obligated to disclose the nature of her surgery.

In my opinion, the Princess of Wales should be allowed to recover at her own pace. She may never reveal the nature of her medical event, because she doesn't want to answer questions about "it" for the next fifty years! I know I wouldn't want to do a walkabout and be bombarded with questions about my illness from the general public, and that would definitely happen.
