The giggle at the end of that scene was very Polin/Lukola.
I feel like they can make an entire season out of the behind the scenes cuts and we will DEVOUR every bit of it 🥵🥹
I thought the same thing; them giggling at the end was really perfect for the characters and let us know that even after they become a couple, the friendship is going to help them keep things fun.
I loved the range of emotions in this scene, the giggling at the end was so cute and so authentic to Polin's friendship
I felt so relatable to my own love story, so well written and realistic.

I loved how he looked at her throughout the scene. And at the end, he gently fixed her dress, smoothed her hair, and gets out of the carriage, You can tell Penelope is panicking, not sure of what he intends, until he proposes. Just brilliantly done. And she has looked so gorgeous all season!

I watched with my mom and I was trying to keep it together. But to be fair I been watching telenovelas with her since I was a kid so this isn't that scandalous, except for the mouning. Most everything else we watched uses music to cover that completely.😂

This scene delivered. It wasn't exactly like the books, in terms of where the characters were at that point, but it felt very true for them, sexy and sweet and with a little sense of wonder. Bravo!
i think the show did it much better, the books are really not that good.

@@mamaseesa3122 The first kiss was word-for-word from the books, but the carriage scene... not so much. Not that I don't love it, but the book carriage scene was sparked from an event that has yet to happen on the show.
@@phoenixfrommars5832 I like both for different reasons. I like that, in the show, he's more open about his feelings. But there's also a revelation in the books, which gives context for that carriage scene (not going to spoil for those who haven't read) that has yet to happen on the show. I'd kind hoped it would happen before they were macking on each other, but I know Shonda loves drawing things out for the drama, so I'm okay with it.

I binge watched the whole 4 episodes😁...especially the carriage scene..aww it was awesome...i loved it❤️...but i think it would've been even great if they've included the portion where Penelope laughs by touching Colin's hair by thinking how much it resembles with Eloise's hair...and when he asks the reason she refuses to say..and then colin starts to torture her with pleasure...God it might have been so good if it might have included...but as i said., I loved the carriage scene...Am totally obsessed with nick and luke...their chemistry❤️

@@animexloveXjs777 In the book.,while they were in the carriage..Penelope grabs Colin's hair..and she immediately thinks about how much his hair resembles Eloise's hair. She knows because Pen and El were best friends and they used to comb each others hair. And this thought made her to giggle while he was kissing her. Colin stops kissing and asks her the reason but she won't tell...and thus he starts giving her some pleasureful tortures🙈 well IDK if we can see this in part 2...but yeah part 2 will have the mirror scene and will be good i hope😊😇
The show never showed Pen combing Eloise's hair I think, and it'd be hard for us to understand her thpughts without hair saying it... but I liked the subtle nod to it with her touching his hair (it reminded me of her "wanting to be an active partner" thing) and it felt like he enjoyed it a lot so I was happy lmao

This, all of the other couples as hot as their scenes are, I can still tell that I'm watching actors "perform." This felt like watching a real couple in love. It was so passionate and the laugh at the end was just perfect for the two of them.

I have rewatched this first half of season 3 more times than any other Bridgerton scenes because it’s so great. So far it’s been more of a cozy watch for me than the other seasons for some reason, and the carriage scene is like the delicious, fascinating icing on top of an already completely absorbing comfort watch extravaganza. Both of them are just stunning to gaze at in all of their scenes. Penelope’s new look is 💥💥💥and I have to say that Colin Bridgerton really snuck up on me as the sexiest Bridgerton. Like what was I even doing the past two seasons? Just oblivious I guess. 🤷🏻♀️ THOSE EYES. I’m terrified of what’s to come with impending Lady Whistledown drama the rest of the season, but at least I’ll have had these luscious fleeting weeks in-between. 😅
