Govt has spend 470 CRORES on the training of the athletes going for Olympics, what are the result we get? Also if there athletes are so good, why they can't find money themselves. This is tax payers money which should be spend carefully. 470 CRORE se 3 bronze medals aaye hai.
Do you know how much money US govt spend on athletes, ZERO. All of sports infra is run by universities with community and private funding. Tax payers money needs to go for important things than entertainment.
All yeh banana mei hamesha se sun raha hu, how come poor countries like Philliphines are above India, surely we spend more than Philliphines in sports. Funding is an excuse getting used by the athletes day and again for their mediocrity. If you can't even do basic things right like keeping your weight in check after having personal coaches and trainers (all on taxpayers expense), then you better say sorry to whole country instead of getting sympathy on it.
In which developed country does govt spend on sports it's always private firm. Send your send child to any sports pay for coaching but tickets. Everything will come in line after that

Bhai, problems are at grassroots. Majority of schools don't even have playground. The whole syllabus is bloody packed with learning. Also we also have to attend tution and coaching centre because many schools doesn't teach properly. How can we make time for sports?

Sport pays a lot of people. Builder, designer, maintenance, athlete, coach, even cleaner, specialized cook and many other field involved that we don't know. India could have produced tons of employment in this sector as they are having issue with umemployment. Instead they only focus on cricket and lost to australia.

We have seen the effect of naxal attacks, how low accessibility of health care affects health of mothers and children. 5:- स्कूल और कॉलेजों को जाति और धर्म के पक्षपात की नहीं, योग्यता की कद्र करनी चाहिए .
6:-स्कूल और कॉलेज के प्रतिभागियों का उद्देश्य नौकरी के लिए खेल कोटा नहीं बल्कि पदक जीतना होना चाहिए

Identify talent at early age, open schools only for sports person so that they have no stress of academics and can just focus on playing
And also get a rule that after the age of 15 if they wish to continue and genuinely perform in competitions, then fix some govt job for them so that even if they fail later they dont have to worry for academic degree for income

Due to sports coaching high fees i left my kho kho, kabbadi, BADMINTON, basketball etc dreams i left sports i left everything... After sometimes i came in 11th,took science, prepared for jee, got admission in any of the top NIs/IITs, got 21 LPA, got promotion, now living peaceful life with hobbies of drawing and speaking etc ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I am from Chhattisgarh and want to share about the students at the Government Higher Secondary Girls' School in Sakola (GPM) , where my mother is a lecturer. Many of the girls from this school, who come from rural areas and have limited resources, have excelled in national gymnastics competitions and won many medals.
Despite their achievements, they face major challenges. They lack proper funding, resources, and guidance, and have had to practice on sand because they don’t have gymnastics mats.
Sadly, even after their success at the national level, these girls do not receive the recognition or financial support they deserve. This situation highlights a bigger issue: India has a lot of talent and potential, but we need to address some basic problems to help these talented individuals reach their full potential.
