The Fuel you used is for high elevation and it goes with stove that works/looks similarly to a propane or Butane stove. The stove you are using is for Isopropyl Alcohol. This was a fun video, I enjoy your stuff!

You used white fuel or white gas which is used with pressurized camp stoves. The ones you pump up and burn like a propane stove. Backpacking stoves. That fuel is great for high altitude too. But not made for open air burning since it’s closer to gasoline than alcohol.
I love the mental image of you finishing a trail, setting up the camera and then hiking back up the trail to get the shot of you pulling up 😅 I’d love to see some Behind The Scenes!

That's probably white gas for a whisperlite stove. That's what I use in high elevation. That "little" brookie would be a tank in the Tahoe area.

If you get the gel alcohol for cooking it works great as you can control the burn a bit better.

Zach, maybe for your laser cut wooden jigs, the hook setter portion - instead of hand bending coat hanger, maybe a laser cut aluminum piece or even 3D printed piece may be easier to semi-mass produce
Seems like a more simple video idea and I have to say I like these more than the wait 3 weeks and get a drawn out heavily planned video. Filming your life and producing content from it is cool too brother!
Hiya. I use bio ethanol in my burner it's a bit cleaner than methylated spirit. I think what you had was the high altitude fuel for a different style of stove. 🔥👍

The color of the meat on the trout depends on what the trout is eating. For instance, stockers are usually wider meat due to them eating feed, but as they acclimate to the waters over time, the meat starts becoming more pink.
That must be some Harry Potter magic in that basket - It fits a whole auger! 😆
Listen to the sound the auger makes when pulled "up" from the magic basket. Auger had drilled a hole in the ice, and was in that hole in the ice, hidden behind the basket........auger blades make noise as it scrapes against the walls of the ice hole...........both funny and genious!
Also, when fowler shredded the jump, his basket was empty of all contents. I wonder if a stunt double did any of the snowboarding tricks...........hmmm......mystery.......

Alcohol usually burns with a near invisible flame. I don’t think you had alcohol as a fuel in that bottle.

Hi Zack we use them burners loads camping over here in the uk the lid controls the flame the more open bigger the flame the lid meant to stay on when using hope this helps

Your full u used for a pump burner. @outdoorboys they use one and can tell ya about it. As far as link fish meat to white...the white meat is from the pellets they use to feed them. Once they been in the lake for awhile they will eat crustaceans and that's what gives the meat a pink red color.

You speak like there isn’t any brown or brook trout in Vermont lol. I live in southern Vermont and we have some of the best brown trout fishing around. People come from all over to fish the battenkill river in the town i live in to take guided fishing trips for brown brook and rainbow trout. Also have some amazing lake trout fishing in many of the lake around me. Love you videos and have been a fan since the alone days. Keep the content coming and come

I watch a you tuber he uses that red thing. It has a pump on top and then attached to a little burner so I’m assuming very flammable liquid.
I live in Illinois and for the last 2 weeks it's been in the 30s 40s and even a couple times in the 50s. I would not survive up north. It's weird because I have family in Wisconsin and Minnesota but not as far up is Maine.

I think it might be the alcohol s fault, used this alcohol burners for years and never seen a flame like that. I think also the solo stove is too tall. You have little control over the settings on the burner. 💥🔥 but this is only my opinion and others may have completely different experience with this burner

I'm thinking you have white gas in that bottle not alcohol. the fire was burning with a little black smoke alcohol burns clear with a blue flame that is hard to see and doesnt flare up like that fuel was doing.
