I feel heart broken about these forms. I get why people hate them but I’m not offended by their designs at all. The only fix I can think of for dialga without changing it too much is just move the throat thing down to where it is in base form. The legs I have no issue with. I think palkia’s would look more clunky with arms added personally. You’re saying they could have done better or more but what exactly is the more that they could have done? I’ve seen interpretations that make them still look like arceus (but something is off even if they look better than the forms we got) or them miss the point and do a different approach, which I don’t know how to feel about because I also like the idea of them looking like arceus just like the video said but the designs are just so hard to get right. It sucks they will stay like that forever because Pokemon don’t get redesigns unless it’s them getting a new form but these ARE those said forms. I guess they aren’t like that forever technically because you could just use their base forms but then these forms are pointless which sucks because like this video says, they are wasted potential.
The designs themselves could have been polished a bit more. What I really don't like is that they have a messy lore, and they don't compare to forms like Primal Groudon, Primal Kyogre, Mega Rayquaza, Ultra Necrozma or Eternamax Eternatus in terms of power.

Design-wise, all they need is to get their body proportions right, and I think the grey from their original designs would make them look better.

Their orig8n forms prove that base Dialga and Base Palkia are already perfect and don't need more forms.
