- Hey guys what's up!
Since we are back from our World Tour with DragonForce, i'm back again with a new drum cover only for you!
I can say this song was one of the best metal drum covers that i ever done in my life. I enjoyed to play this song in terms of foot technique, concentration, relax and fun. I really want to thanks Mr. Tomas Haake (Meshuggah drummer) to have created such an interesting song to play and learn on drums. As a drum teacher i would like to recommend to every drummer around to spend some quality time studying this song following this drum cover, i'm sure you would improve a lot on your drumming.
To make your life easier i also decided to share with you two different drum videos of the same cover, this one played along the original live song and a second one with only my drums, without music (that you can find at this link:
• Gee Anzalone - BLEED -...
As well, you can find the .pdf files of the drum patterns of this song becoming a patron on my Patreon channel following the link

Love how peaceful he looks playing this
this song is like on every list of TOP Hardest song to play on drums.
"Let me play this totally motherfucking prog spine breaking double bass goddamn pattern while I look like I'm calmly watering the violets in my window"
Dude just casually woke up and decided play Bleed like it’s no big deal...
It takes a drummer to respect how smooth that stick grab was haha. Love the vid man. you’re a machine.
Finally someone who can actually cover this song without skipping beats all the time. For gods sake, people can hit the notes but never at the correct timings always shifting in beats. Not suprising the only person who can play it aside from Tomas is one that has the best leg technique. Kudos man.
His leg technique is mesmerizingly flawless fr
Those patterns are mind blowing!!! Absolutely amazing! 🤯🤯🤯🤯
I can not thank you enough for doing this Gee, this is a track I have some respect for. Thomas is an absolute monster on this track , and after hearing you did a cover of this I came here immediately to see this , you have inspired me as well to just keep at it and keep drumming ...
🔥🔥🔥 This song never gets old.
Anybody who can do this song deserves a thumbs up. My everest. Well played.
This is amazing. He is at peace while playing this song.
Great job Gee. Awesome!
He doesnt even look like he's struggling with his feet-
Awesome video gee, you're a beast
Love to come back to this
Great video Gee! Congrats. Happy New Year. 🤘👊🤘👊🥁
wow, you take it to another level....
Learning to play this song takes dedication :P not an easy one. Btw great playing in Dragonforce. I think reaching into infinity is the best by far album Dragonforce hhas ever done. No other album comes even close. The variety is also great.
Awesome as always Gee, greetings from Argentina
Awesome!
Best drum pattern of all times, maybe Born In Dissonance is close
You also covered Haakes relaxed playing style. Great! The only thing thats really horrible is the sound of the cymbals.
O cara parece um robô
Tão técnico que toca como se não fosse nada, amazing
Best cover on youtube
You should do Fleshgod Apocalypse - The Violation or Trivium - The Sin and The Sentence
Zzzzzzzz. Something more creative and difficult instead 🙃
@@Kain_R_Heinlein the violation goes BRRRRRRR TATATATATA BRRRRRRR TAK DES TAK DES BRRRRRRRRRRR
@@m.iqbal_akbar sounds about right haha and that's not even their best song 😎
Good job.
Killer! 👊💀 🇧🇷🦂
Holy macaroni!!
Oh it's Gee of course he crushes it what else would one expect from him?
2 of the hardest songs so far in my practice room: 1. Dance of Eternity by DT and then this song. At least the first one I can do the song for the most part. This is dope playing tho. I need to learn this by the end of the year!
Did you manage too?
Love it!!! You effin nailed it!
1) was this a “I will make it no matter what it takes”-moment?
2) are you somewhat offended that Thomas Haake hasn’t made a Dragonforce cover as a counter-tribute to you?
3) is this truly the thoughest test you’ve put yourself through?
4) any thoughts of changing the placement of your China...during or after this!?
Anyway, massive cred to you for putting the effort into it...I’m your latest fan! Greetings from the land of Meshuggah...Sweden, that is
Look at his face this entire song and no 3) is answered 😎🤟🏽🔥
Cymbal pattern in the last few bars is wrong but like... this is still mindblowing. Amazing.
I don't think he is worried about the colors being absolutely precise. Gee seemed to use some of his own colors throughout. The important parts are the bassdrums and backseat, which he annoyingly nailed while looking like he was sitting at a table in a coffee shop enjoying an espresso listening to Teardrop from Massive Attack or something. Heh heh
Sweeet 👌
Is it just me, or is there missing some ghost notes during the verses? Or is it just Thomas Haake that can't sit still with his hands while he plays.?
The ghost notes aren’t required, they’re just to help with timing. You can’t even hear them in the original recording.
@@bigjosh2517 good point. Never thought of that. Thank dude 👍
@@bigjosh2517 yup but you have pretentious assholes that are gonna say they hear em lol.
Easy for you....
I don't look that relaxed sleeping.
To the donuts down here saying "UuUuUuUuUgGgGgGgGhHhHhHhH you're playing it wrong" or "more ghost notes and less stick tricks." Please Post your own covers of bleed then you have some grounds to criticise. If not then please shut up! :)
I'm pretty sure you don't need ghost notes, I think they only help with timing. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Ppl complaining so much in the comments..ughhh no ghost notes ugggghhhh stop twirling ur stick..
Let's see you leave link with your own covers..
Djent Drum Machine
His calves are now full grow cows
Fuckin savage! Dude looks like he's doing his grocery list in his head while pounding away! FUCKIN NICE!
Fucking A Gee!!!!
Bleed is 115 BPM, he's playing at around 95.
I just checked with a metronome its, definitely around 115 bpm
Is it aye?
The fuck you smoking OP?
Ceo of no big deal 😂😂😂😭☹️
Dude the ghost notes are part of the groove it's not only for the timing
Lol
What a monster 🤯 please get some better cymbals though...
Less stick tricks - more ghostnotes! ;)
@klick2destruct The ghost notes are not really necessary, i think Haake only does it to help him with his timing.
Absolutely not my friend! The ghostnotes introduce a 16th feel which helps the whole thing to groove a lot more. At the same time they are super hard to feel (for me at least) and are I doubt that he needs it to keep time.
@@klick2destructYou can't even hear the ghost notes in the mix, the sole reason to why he is doing them is to not lose tempo.
@@isacrenberg1054 yes yes you can! Time to get better headphones/speakers my friend 😉 oh and the studio version will help aswell.
Ghost notes in a 16th feeling does not help with keeping time when you are playing polymeters. There would be even more notes to line up, which is not easier but harder.
@@klick2destruct I have pretty good headphones and just listened once again the album version. If you had not seen Haake play the ghostnotes, then you would not know they exist.
No disrespect to your style of play dude, solid yes, show boating no, wheres the ghost notes true to the drums? Enjoyed it though 🏴🤘
True to the song? Lmao that wasn't in the studio version and neither was the part at 2:21 that was added later. And he does play ghost notes to keep himself centered and on beat if you pay enough attention
put on the ghost notes instead of tricks with the sticks. good cover
Lol
What with the beard? 🤨🤨🤨
PURE DEVIL , STAY out of this
when you decide to fart around and do stick twirls instead of playing ghost notes on the snare...
two completely different styles of drumming. power metal is evidently his forte, however it's cool to see how he interprets a song like bleed. i don't necessarily like it, but it's definitely cool to see.
When you comment on a video out of bitterness 🤣🤣🤣
@@elmochacho3 when you comment on a video where drummer doesn't play all the notes and someone thinks that's bitterness... lol
@@theseventhammer 🤣🤣🤣 yass a grown man having a meltdown at a CZcams comment.
@@theseventhammer when you comment on a video thinking the ghost notes you can't even hear and that didn't exist on the studio version are necessary lol
He's playing the song at a lower BPM
Is he aye?
I mixed this with the original song and it’s fine
You're smoking something. Go take your meds, it's fine
бля, лайк ставить не буду! камент напишу лучше )) пусть столько лайков останется 666
look mom I COVERED a real drummers song an spun my stix
Wee bitter Geoff 🤣🤣🤣
Enough of the twirls.........cheerleader drummer lol
Ohh wee bitter Gerry 🤣🤣🤣 you covered bleed?
Playing it wrong but still nice job
Lol
