Great videos from Shar. Thanks so much for these tips. I just watched the video on how to detect buzzes. Good job!

I reccomend using Geared tuners cause they turn more smoothly. I'm afraid they'll have to discontinue all the Friction Pegs & just go w/ Geared Pegs cause they never slip. Also the Guitar/Bass Style tuners aren't tapered which means no damage at all.

How do you fix slipping geared pegs?

Sorry for the delayed response! That's a tricky question, as there are many different variants of geared pegs. Due to the number of moving parts involved with each of them, it is typically best to take your instrument into a shop for evaluation. They will likely need to disassemble the peg, verify all the internal components are functioning properly, and re-install it.
