As a rough guide, the IJN gunboat line is 700,000 XP - which is 7,778 XP per day over 90 days. Not at all difficult if you've already put in the hard work required to get five tech-tree T10 ships and access the RB in the first place. The only upgrade you really need to research along the way outside of the hulls is the B torpedoes for the Hatsuharu, because it pushes them out from 6km to 10km.
This is of course far less time-efficient than a power grind, but it also means one has time to play other ships and earn more credits to feed the cost of the increasingly expensive ship acquisitions. One of the major problems to be aware of in WOWS is that XP-earning potential is disproportionately greater than credit-earning potential, and it's not hard for a relative newcomer to hit increasingly high tiers and find themselves in a major credit crunch when it comes to actually acquiring the ships they've researched. This is especially the case in today's snowflake-bonus world, where you are rewarded for keeping older ships in port rather than selling them to recoup a portion of their successor's purchase costs.

you don't really explain how to reset muliple times for a newbie like me, I need to know how to do it multiple times

So what you do is grind or FXP to the Tier 10, reset the line, then do it all over again. You don't actually need to buy the ships if you are just using FXP. What I typically do is FXP to the Tier 5 or 6, then grind the rest in Ranked.

I'm not trying to get credits. How do I get Research Points?

Hey sorry I guess I never responded... you get points by resetting a line and then winning a battle in the tier 5-10 of that line you reset.

It's designed to be "end game" content to keep players grinding away :).

So if i dont have enough credits and fxp should i play in operations with T8 premiums ships using fxp and credits booster just to research and reseting the Harugumo line over and over again?. because in operations i always got 25k fxp each match also i enjoyed it better than random i know maybe it took 5 days or more to get the 700k fxp

You can definitely do it that way if you do not enjoy randoms. Personally, I wouldn't use more than green boosters in operations, unless you have a LOT of blues. But it's totally up to you!
