your timing on the drop portion looks pretty close if not a bit late. But the fork rebounding hard from your hop almost took you out on this one. Great to see you practicing smaller ones as well.
YEAH DUDE! Saw the other video a couple of weeks ago and this poped up just now. When i saw the front leaving the drop i though that you gonna otb. Really glad you cleared it! Keep on shredding!
Saw your other video. I’m impressed you kept at it. It looks like there’s a step up leading to the bridge/drop. The deck seems a bit short you are not properly set up at the take off point looks like the deck needs a bit more length added to it to give you the time to do a pull and proper liftoff. You landed it a bit nose heavy still which means your slightly late on take off.

Haha dude I don't know if this is the best way to learn 🤣 You got it this time though! which is nice. But very lucky to be without injury from those 2 first hits, so maybe not the best long-term strategy if you want to keep riding without damage? 😙
Can you show me how the take off would look like from your POV ? I noticed that you had a hop , or there was a bump built into the take off and you had to make a hop before take off. I feel it's not right for a track builder to do so .
I am truly inspired by your GRIT & Tenacity The first video was heart breaking & I regretfully felt pity for you & wasn’t sure why you would try a second time (which also resulted badly) but this video reminded me that any great achievement is on the other side of hard work, consistency, sometimes bruises & the Belief in oneself even if others (me) at first don’t believe or would have had you quit.. You definitely reminded to keep grinding, sometimes I’ll have to dust myself off, but to keep going after my Dreams Your Awesome & God Bless
You're literally wearing the bare minimum protective gear. Get elbow/knee pads and a FF helm if you're still learning to cope with rollers. One case is all it takes.
Lots better.. but it looks like you may be a bit far back on the landing of the jump so straight arm the drop when you need the extra extension to get the bike further out... I find the quickest & easiest drop tech is to load the front and push out as you rise from the load... timed right at the lip... May b a bit much on this jump/drop so try on a standard drop... its almost effortless at a moderate pace even to flat... But although I've been riding for years, i'm only really learning to actually ride now... so watch someone that actually knows what their doing.. Theres an old vid of "Kyle & April" where he is teaching her to drop... really good examples and explanation. About the only thing I can add to drops that a lot of videos miss... is most say "Down and back".. my brain didn't like this.. but its actually the exact same as "Down and push the bike out in front of you"... that may or may not work for you.. but if it helps wrap your head around what I'm saying.. yeay.
No don’t go practice smaller. Enter into the drop slower. Looks like you hit a jump before the skinny and threw you off balance. Try pumping before the skinny and pull up slightly on take off you’ll be fine
Bro don't just ride off that big of a drop going that slow. Pull up so the front tire and back tire are even coming off it. I do have to say you have some balls to take spills like that and keep trying.
Nope, not just speed. This time I remembered to drop my seat and prepare proper body position. After landing on top of the drop from the jump behind it, leaned forward with bent elbows so I could push the handlebars forward as the front wheel cleared the drop, countering the endo rotation.
@@hopnglo680 Nope, he's right, the correct tecnique is push your bike forward, lean your weight back brings a lot of problems with it, it's not safe at all, I advise everyone to watch some video tutorials on youtube (like those of ben chatro, probably the best ones on yt) or take some courses, before giving potentially dangerous advice, and before approaching these features.
I dont understand why ur hopping before the drop, if it is because tberes a gap the it makes sense. But tje overall way to drop safely is to push ur bike forward by moving ur ass above the rear tire the with enough speed just drop. Dont try bunny hopping at all.
You got lucky on that one. Start smaller and build a solid foundation of proper technique before you roll off of that big drop and break your neck, literally. A lesson with qualified mtn bike instructor will go a long way towards helping you achieve your goals and stay out of the ER.
Practice small drops mate, very lucky to get away with that
it wasn’t that bad 😂
Lucky to get away with a roller?....mate have you ever ridden an MTB before?
Nah he's fine

Cannot deny your grit and determination. I tip my hat to you mate. 💪🏻
Your commitment is awesome! Practice more but remember that safety is more important than anything
Yesss, bro! 👊 Mad respect. Those first two were gnarly.
Good job mate, keep it up, keep feeling good and keep doing cool stuff like that😃
So glad to see this 2nd episode!! Good on you to keep at it!
I’d try and get that front tire a bit higher if you value your face, collarbones etc.

Nice, you did it! Iv seen the first two attempts 😁
i ain’t gonna lie this is some inspirational shit 👍
Great! Just seen this! Needs practice but glad to see you stay on 2 wheels and ride it out
Way to not give up! 🤘
Great job, small drops build up to a big puddle

This is a double feature - jump plus drop, so it's far from easy.
There ya go! Handled it!
Way to go!

Looks so fun
grate to see you come back and do it again after last vid is amazing! i think your puling up a bit to early.
That was deceptively close to a hospital visit.
Heck yeah dude! When in doubt add some speed. Much better than the last one.
Almost died there...
Dude, that was close..
Yey you did it!! But yes practice small drops - the pop you do makes landing too rough! Landing on the rocks w this style can be rough and sketchy.
Im glad it worked out this time 😅
resiliance! great job bro!
HE DID ITTTTTT
Very nice
Good job
Nice! What's the jump look like before it? Most drops don't have an obstacle right before it like this looks like...
Basically imagine a ramp up to the flat drop, and then remove the first 2 or 3 planks where the flat part would start.
@@jeffcooper1583 ahhh. Gotcha. Thanks for the reply!
@@jeffcooper1583 sounds like a pretty tough drop tbh.

Where do you ride? Looks very much like a feature in my hometown.
This is Binkley Park in Sherman, TX.
Bike looks like Polygon Siskiu - is it?
I got D7 and compared to my previous bike Siskiu D7 is amazing. I'm loving it🚵
Yep, a T7. I love it.
