According to FP commits from a few days ago, P17 won't be craftable, but once recycled it'll drop that burst fire module thingy. And yeah, even as server operator and prefab maker, I find 0 interest in Caboose... but then again, there are gambling degenerates in Rust, they'll surely love it :D
Just watched the video, I really think the SAP, M92 & SAR are gonna be nuts with the new burst trigger mod I dunno about the M39 but the thing hits like a truck so I'd imagine it'd be good if it doesnt have a whole bunch of recoil

I would actually pay money for that, but no no - relegate it to the most underused travel system and outside the comfort of safety... Another gun.. big woop.
a Full auto fire module would be really, really busted and i honestly don't see it ever being a good idea to give that to us unless its only applicable to pistols and even then it would still be pants shittingly scary because of how cheap P2s are to craft, if they make it applicable to semi-fire guns like the SAR it will cook the performance of the gun, there won't be much reason to use anything else and i wouldn't want to see that happen, i would however like gun specific mods such as a loader for the python for faster reload, a barrel magazine for the thompson a traditional AK stock for better recoil things that are not craftable but would be highly desireable loot from tunnel NPCs and Scientists.
As if the time to kill wasn't bad enough with the new gunplay, now we will be triple head shot all the time. Game isn't fun now, it was never about how good the guns were. Guns being hard to use made the game unpredictable, now I'm getting beamed all the damn time by p2s and whatever. Sure its fun to do the beaming but the game should be fun for everyone

It's literally content for contents sake, it will be used even less than the previous train update and at least that offered a new strategy. More assets to add to the 10 year asset warmup 💀

There are 10+ concept artists, 3d modelers, animators, Sfx artists, and other employees who exist, what are they gonna do while Alistar fixes your projectile invalid problem.

About time we had a new gun.
Just wish it was a more "meta" gun, like an assault rifle of some sort. Something like an FAL or SA58 would look good in this game imo.
