Some good hitting there. My son is 13 but a bit bigger. He hasn’t swung a USSSA bat in a good while. Last time we did, the difference between BBCOR and USSSA was 5-7 MPH with flips. It would be interesting to see a direct on field comparison with a pitching machine. Honestly, with a 70mph pitch a light swing will send a ball 300’ with a USSSA bat.
Do a Voodoo One BBCOR VS the XL1 it would be interesting to see the difference on the field.

I actually have the Mako and I have 17 home runs in one season with it it is absolutely the best bat I’ve had

Is the drop 8 xl1 just as hot as the drop 5?
Unfortunately no they’re completely different composite molds.
The -8 is very metallic and takes forever to break in

2011 xl1 -5 thoughts?
Takes forever to break in the 2011 XL1, but when it is, this bat is one of the best. I had mine rolled and it took about 200 cuts more too break it in. Right now, it's as hot as the Orange XL1. Both bats are end loaded.
