@Ratt611 7 is the number of the counting and the number of the counting shall be 7. Not 6 for Slanesh. Not 8 for khorn. 9 while being way out. Is sorta acceptable becasue chaos undivided also includes nurgle.

Very happy to hear a Nurgle campaign will be fun. Was looking forward to Nurgle the most before 3 came out and was just so lame to play as them
i mean, no guarantees you will like them after the rework either. but there should be lots of gameplay and streams of them on CZcams, so that should give you a decent idea if you'll enjoy them more now
Having seen both your and other people's vids, i can safely say that Nurgle lords will be a hell of alot more fun. It was a drag needing to wait for ten turns just to have the military strength to expand only to get crippled when your economy collapses two turns after.
Having a non-magic caster lord-buff wagon is actually pretty cool for campaigns if I want to keep using low-tier units. Also, his design is 10/10, Greasus eat your heart out.
It's as funny as it is sad that CA is at their very best when they are apologizing but this DLC looks amazing so I am not complaining.
Chaos realm maps need to be the default battle maps for regions where corruption is peaking.
They look absolutely gorgeous and it's a huge shame to let them rot in the inferior game mode.
Honestly they could be used as good mechanics. Being able to take over a providence capital and basically change it into one of those maps with a city smacked on could be dope, would make it so the longer chaos infest a place the stronger it grows

flc lords are always so fun for some reason. They add just enough flavor to be more unique and fun then the "basic" LLs but they dont have crazy mechanics that make them op or complicated. Alith anar and imrik are def highlights

Drycha with her legendary hero is another example of "Holy shit". They truly did something unique for her.
27:20, Malus attacked the Lord and not Epidimius, so Epidimius ends up behind Malus and therefore reinforcing from the other side of the battlefield. It makes sense and is actually pretty important when chosing your engagements!

On an unrelated note will you upload any videos on manor lords? A lot of people are excited about it and its a "similar" strategy type game. Could be good for the channel.
ToD is looking so MUUUUUUCH better than SoC (even after the additions), but even so I'm somehow way more excited to play as Epidemius.
Free Legendary Lords do so much to improve the overall game, that Legendary Heroes just don't.
One thing that might help a bit in the first turns is to build the 2 turns heroes recruitment building in order to pop off a Sorcerer of Nurgle, so you can have him built around your aoe spells while the Plagueridden have the healing and the single target spell
Also, you can take your second region by turn 2, you only need to force march into the minor Tzeentch faction territory after killing his first army, he won't have anything in sight, so you have a little bit more time before the Malus vendetta
I agree with infection being so important to Epidemius tho : he have too few infections in the early game compared to Ku'gath' (especially thanks to his landmark) and Tamurkhan's constant fights
On the topic of Daniel, I find it more useful to sell the Volcano's Heart to him, this way I can have an alliance with him and plenty of gold ! The only drawback is that it can drag you in a war against Boris, Archaon or Malakai, but if Daniel fight those then they will become your problem too very soon... So I accept the gold, and gladly put an outpost so I can always recruit something

10:50 Well it matters very much for Kugath aswell since it was a major issue he had with his starting position, his capital could only spread a plague to 1 of the 3 other regions from the province and that was it. His growth will be so much stronger now if he can spread a +25 growth plague to all 4 regions of his starting province.
you can move where your reinforcements come from, just click n drag the reinforcements balloon n move it to where you want them to enter

It would be cool if all chaos factions had access to diplomacy with daniel where you could send him gifts and sway what path the AI dan goes in regards to Demonic gifts.
From not wanting to play Nurgle at all to struggling to pick one of the LLs to play first...even Kugath is looking good now! Altough Epidemius currently has the slight edge for me, thanks to his plagues actually, you know, killing people
13:50 How does it work exactly? Can you abandon 1 settlement to then recolonize it on the next turn to go from 4 to 5 surplus instantly?Or does it only work if you capture it from an enemy?

Does his plague counting mechanic count Skaven and Demon Prince plagues as well or just Nurgle ones?
it counts plagues that you started, naturally.
it only counts Epidemius faction plagues, so it wont even count stuff from Kugath for example
Drop more land battles my boy
Can any one give me advice on how to use the toads and the rot flies. Both those units always come out of my battles either dying or low health? What fights should these units be looking to take?
Easiest micro for me is assemble melee blob. Keep toads far away or hidden. Wait till ai commits to the blob. pick flank or ranged back line and charge. Use them together as much as possible, support with flies.

it does not. the Tally is only for Epidemius faction plagues

I really don’t like his mechanic with the morris engine effect. I recently found out it doesn’t just affect the enemy but also your own troops

What about generic mortal lord of nurgle, he should be better then master in a duel, master is anti large after all. Rancid is an expensive spell, if you try to army lost malus, soc is a better way to go.
can definitely make that work well too. this video was made with all base game stuff, no DLCs required, so it was kind of tailored for people who are new or haven't thought about buying Thrones of Decay yet

pretty sure it doesn't work that way and even if it did you'd still need to pay the colonization fee every time making it really expensive anyways
