I have this beautiful Gransfors Bruks small forest axe, and I usually use it to split kindling for our pizza oven or my new wood stove in my cabin, but it scares me. Best practice is to kneel when you're using it so you don't over-swing and have it come around into your knee.
I knew there was a better way to cut kindling so after googling around for a bit i spotted a design that was perfect. I have a few axes and hatchets laying around that i picked up at thrift shops, and this was the perfect use for one of my old, loose axes.
Now i've got endless kindling, and i can make it quickly and confidently.

I enjoy to watch your storytelling! The creativity for explain things visually is way better than said it.

Jesse, your videos are always a 1:1 ratio of information and entertainment. If that's what you set out to do, then congrats, because you nail it every, single time. Of course, your short films are even better. If there was a CZcams channel that played nothing but Jesse Senko quality short films, well, I'd prolly watch nothing else!

I think I may have a problem with self destruction if I feel I’m being too serious! If you find that entertaining, then awesome! :) thanks as always for watching Kenny!

Jesse, just don't slip and fall headfirst onto it. That would be a new take on falling on your sword! Love your vids!

Great video. Could have used something like this in 2019. Anyways, I’ll be reporting for offensive content.
