Ya thanks. I went from working full time to 16 hours a week. We are labeled " essential" so my company got to stay open. But, we have no business. Since my company is keeping us working they get free money from the government. The people not working at all get to file unemployment and receive 100% of their regular pay. I have been working 60 hours a week for the last 10 years. All my bills and family is based off my income while working 60 hours a week. Now im working 16 hours a week because while yes the company i work for is open for business, we have no business. So my pay has been cut by over well over 75% and my coworkers and I get no assistance or help. Since the company i work for kept us working during this national emergency they get free money from the government. The oeople laid off get 100% salary paid to them through unemployment. But we, the people actually working, get no help. Not a damn thing. Nothing for showing up for work while there is a pandemic because my job is labeled essential.

Ya thanks. I went from working full time to 16 hours a week. We are labeled " essential" so my company got to stay open. But, we have no business. Since my company is keeping us working they get free money from the government. The people not working at all get to file unemployment and receive 100% of their regular pay. I have been working 60 hours a week for the last 10 years. All my bills and family is based off my income while working 60 hours a week. Now im working 16 hours a week because while yes the company i work for is open for business, we have no business. So my pay has been cut by over well over 75% and my coworkers and I get no assistance or help. Since the company i work for kept us working during this national emergency they get free money from the government. The oeople laid off get 100% salary paid to them through unemployment. But we, the people actually working, get no help. Not a damn thing. Nothing for showing up for work while there is a pandemic because my job is labeled essential.
