A Very Rainy Thorpe Park Hyperia Construction Update - UK's Tallest and Fastest Roller Coaster

- Today we take a look at thorpe park new for 2024 roller coaster, Hyperia. Due to be the new tallest and fastest roller coaster in the uk.
The 165ft outer banked turn around is nearing completion as we wait on the final few supports to be installed. I expect track for this element to go in long before our next update.
We got very VERY wett today at Thorpe Park as the storm came in. the day started out so sunny and warm but it got bad quickly. because of this I couldnt go down munks walk. but next weekend if the rain isnt too bad we will definatly get some good construction pictures and videos from munks walk.

Jesus 😱 am looking forward to this. A new tallest coaster in the Uk 😃 this is unusual colour but it’s going to be incredible I hope I go to Thorpe park in 2024 visit and seeing this big exodus 🤞🏻
They should be more generous with the Gold Colours. What’s the point of the colour if it can’t even be seen from at least the car park. But Good Video though :)
That's what they had to do in order to get it approved by the council. They want it to some what blend in with the sky. They had to do it with stealth also
@@TheKnexMaker but swarm is 130ft and all black, they could've at least made around the lower 130ft gold instead of what is probaly about 60ft gold which we see today.
@@hacwoolls5467 its currently about 80ft gold, and the swarm dosnt really have any trees around it. since its not that tall they were ok having it all grey. but anything over about 160-180ft needs this colour change
@@hacwoolls5467 Theme Park neighbours are possibly the worst neighbours. They don’t want to see the Coaster as it gives them an eyesore 😂
Such a shame this coaster couldn't be all gold. it seems to be 90% white.

1:1 🤣 na can't do 236ft tall knex coaster. I'm sure you mean a scale model. For the trains I use that's around 1:25 so that would make a recreation about 9 ft tall. I wana do one, maybe January
It looks like they have made a mistake and painted some of the lower supports the wrong colours (white instead of gold:-)
