▫ Mijas costa, also known as La Cala de Mijas, gets crowded with tourists already in spring, when the good weather comes back. There are many good restaurants around and it's nromally safe to swim in the sea.
It's part of the Municipality of Mijas in the province of Málaga, Andalusia, southern Spain. It's near Marbella and Fuengirola, with a population of around 4.000 people.
