My wife hates anything 'coffee' (and marzipan for that matter, but's that's another story), so she does not go for tiramisu. I made a brownie tray the other day, and I told her I put 1tbsp of espresso in the mixture, and she nearly freaked. She had already eaten 4 pieces by then :)

Setting that boundary with your fans is so awesome! I see so many youtubers put all of themselves into their relationship with their fans, and it is clearly an issue for them. The worst is when they're involving their partners and/or children in the content... just no respect for their own or their loved ones privacy. I admire that ability to set that boundary.

I know it is unheard of in this day and age, but some things are just none of our business, and I am thankful for that as I don't feel the need to know all about everyone---it can be way too scary! I use a clever pretty often and used to have choking issues pretty consistently. I realized that the filter you use has a big impact. Some paper filters can make contact with the plunger and gum it up or (worse) tear. I never had this issue with a flat bottom cone-shaped metal filter but prefer the paper filter taste. I now use a paper filter inside of a metal filter which holds the paper away from the plunger mechanism and has made a much more consistent cup and experience. Worth a try!

James, thanks so much for answering several of the multitude of questions that came about...We respect boundaries and are glad that you are aware of their importance. Of course, we knew how tall you are...I mean, when you've taken that many pictures of someone, you establish scale. We enjoy a fine coffee every day or two in front of our James collage that adorns our breakfast nook..while bespectacled in Bold eyewear...in your image...cheers

Tiramisu! Ah. A small pastry shop in the Finger Lake region of upstate New York. The serving was taken out of the freezer and microwaved for maybe 20 seconds. The filling was oozing out between the layers. Fresh cream, chocolate syrup and cold espresso was mixed and then poured over.
It was a Sunday afternoon and the server was fascinated a couple of people from west Texas had come in her place and knew what tiramisu was. The coffee served with it was some restaurant brew served in a china cup heavy enough to do brain damage if you hit someone with it.
This has been 15 years ago and I remember the sweet/bitter taste of that fresh mixed syrup over that exquisite pastry.
