My fav dragon obviously goes to noivern! He's my best boi for a reason! He claps enemies like how he claps the fandom haters!

Kommo-o, going super saiyan with clangerous soul (or soulblaze) and the nod it gives to Kapu Kauilua and mauy thai cultures is really satisfying. Goodra, both forms, are a close second; derp dragon tries its best and should be appreciated for it! I do like Applin and its evolutions too though, grass is my favorite type, so grass/dragon is quite appreciated.

as someone who's favorite type is ice, i get the feeling me and lance jr would get along just splendidly
Only if Kyurem was involved somehow, otherwise he would probably react like Iris in the anime when it comes to ice types
I prefer steel types and my fav pokemon is Aggron ngl (mainly because of Aron)
Bug and Poison type appreciator here, definitely not the best types but they can be strong if used right

Noibat is probably the most early and common dragon Pokémon in all the games
Except its debut game (couldn’t be caught until the victory road)
Pretty sure he could have had a Bagon before trainer school tho

I love the storytelling of your videos, Keegan. The way they are set up is just so interesting. I mean, a dragon trainer who claims to be Lance's son believing that dragons are these powerful creatures who were never defeated, being forced by Alola to be dragged down into cruel reality by making him traumatized? It's just perfect.

yea he should do nuzlockes, mono type challenges are easy, even 9 yr old me could beat them. I beat a fire mono type challenge in sun and moon.
Nuzlockes arent funny as you think....and there are tons of nuzlockers out there; check antlerboy for instance....
We are way better with keegan's mono type story lines.
You think Keegan should do a Dark Type playthrough? Maybe he can say Gamer and they were cousins.
And maybe, JUST maybe, Houndoom will finally have it's time in praise. It came second to beating Sada, only to be over shadowed by Arcanine. 😭
Stat doubling actually doesn't work like that, it's even worse
It doubles the stat after accounting for evs, ivs and the nature so a base 60 speed mon can actually become faster than a base 120 pokémon
Also you could have captured dragonite at the secret area right next to the dragon trial cave

I've been watching some old nuzlocke runs. It always take some time for them to find their groove. The only one that started being awesome from the beginning was Antlerboy (uneless he erased some old cringy video not visible today)
You may be implying that Applin's a wrong answer, but with the release of Hydrapple, it's definitely got some points in it's favor.
Either way, Baxcalibur's the choice for me.
For me it's the goat Haxorus he carried me through two rom hacks 🥹 he was a legend

I know how agonizing that Furfrou must have been, but... here comes some "too late, my bad" advice.
You can get the Bagon on Route 3 before fighting the Furfrou. Just go the other way around from where you normally would. If you talk to Kukui from the front, he'll teleport you behind him, but there's some grass before him that lets you get a Bagon.
If he really had the patience he could've attempted to get the level 7 Salamence from sos

I hate how the outcome is so obvious but I love watching the playthrough and how they do it, it just feels nice to watch a pokemon playthrough challenge which doesn’t change the game too much and I love how Keegan edits and words out his feelings during the playthrough, feels really refreshing to watch
I'm glad my fav pokemon litteraly saved the run, TWICE, with togedemaru, and Ultra necrozma, even if it was with stalling

Really appreciate the rules you’ve self imposed, matching team size always made sense to me and crossed my mind quite a bit.
One minor nitpick is that when you visualize the stats, you also increase the HP during an omniboost visual, even though HP can't be increased.
A larger nitpick is pointing out that the base stats aren't literally being doubled, but I digress

I believe there's a very small chance for you to get Salamence as an sos Pokémon where you got the Bagon.
I really like the Dratapult line since i recently caught a shinny dreepy and i like the fact it fire out baby at mach 20 . Its fun.

To beat ultra necrozma I just went into zoarark and spammed foul play while it went for psychic moves because of illusion😂

I mean, dragons being the COOLEST type is dependent on each person’s opinions, but me personally, they are my personal favorite type. As for my favorite… probably Salamence because I love its shiny and I hate that green shinies get so much hate in the community because it’s my personal favorite color and it’s also an underrated color imo.

@thesongbird1679 bagon is a Dragon type. you have to encounter bagon to SOS Salamence. Bagon and Salamence are the same evolutionary line

My favorite dragon is Flygon! It's cute, strong AND his role was nice in the Jirachi movie. Him and Absol were really kind to help Ash and his friends to save Jirachi. Real heroes 😀I hope he get a regional from in Gen 10. A flying or poison type eevee would be cool too! The last eeveelution was Sylveon in X and Y; it was in 2013. We need another one!

For the question, I'd have to pick Duraludon/Archaludon... I think they look awesome (Go staple removers!) and with the fantastic typing of Steel/Dragon, and pretty good stats, they are excellent choices for anyone's team.
I love Kommo-o soo much!! Even with it's obismal 4× weakness to fairy, I absolutely adore the combo of> pseudo legendary stats to complement Soundproof with dragon dance + (insert favorite Physical fighting move here) is something that I never knew I wanted this badly until this Pokémon premiered in generation 7! Go Kommo-o Go!!!

I can remember when I was completing my pokedex for Alola I was hunting the Bagon and actually ran into the much rarer low level Salamence first and almost turned my game off because I was so excited. That would've been a crazy encounter for your playthrough.

I've done a dragon only playthrough in usum and that poodle in the cave is the hardest thing ever for no reason 😂
Idea: Gen 9 But you can only use middle stage evolutions.
So any Pokémon that have a 3 or more Evo line you can only use their middle stage, or 2 stages you can only use the first stage.
For example,
Floragato
Luxio
Gabite
Dragalge and Garchomp. Dragapge because it's the only pokemon not weak to fairy that is a dragon type, and Garchomp because it's iconic
Whilst flying types are my favourite typing in Pokemon, my favourite dragon is actually Dragonair. I just love the design and the fact it turns into a thing like Dragonite just makes me laugh everytime. 😂

My favorite dragon type (and second favorite Pokemon in general) is Noivern! It REALLY gave me a run for my money when I saw it for the first time. Scolipede has been my favorite since its launch, but Noivern made me sweat. It never took Scolipede's spot in the end, but man. It came really damn close. lol

Keegan I must say I am impressed with the ability to not take so long to catch Bagon that it you “accidenlly” find then catch the 1% Salamance call (and no it is really low level so it’s technically not breaking level cap rule)
Noivern, Tyrantrum and Haxorus are my favorite mainly due to their designs
I do love dragons u inspired me to do type play through just finished a rock play through on sword and a dragon one one Scarlett and about to start a steel on sword
So, I literally have "dragon" in my last name and I love dragons since forever, so in my first game of ultra moon my final team was pure dragon + decidueye (I was 14 and believed myself an edge lord)
Salamence, Goodra, Kommo-o, Garchomp and Naganadel plus the before mentioned Decidueye
Seeing this dedication to my beloved all-powerful dragons does bring a smile to my face
I don't think you've ever gotten more losses in any other video you've done. This has to be the biggest struggle you've ever had.
Dragon Type pokemon are one of my favorite types. And my favorites of them are Tyrunt and Tyrantrum
