With just sleeping bags and or air mattresses probably 4. So far so good, even in the heavy rain. it held up just fine and the plus side is the wide door, so much easier for bringing items in and out. Just don't set it up in direct sunlight with the rain fly on, or it'll be a hot one.
I camped once with this in no shade, not as hot as a regular tent but it was still pretty warm that next late morning. I'm sure with the rainfky off, it would have been better besides being in the sun.

How many people do you think comfortably fit in this tent? Thoughts on it after using a few times?

Why not start with the center top and work downward?
I suppose that does make more sense. That's just how I've always done it. I'll definitely try that way this summer, thanks. 🙂
Does it have one or two doors?
This tent has one door but is different from the rest. This door is very wide compared to a regular dome tent.
