I don't get why they don't get the attention they truly deserve. I'm from India and I've been an Amorphis fan for nearly 20 years. Almost every single album is a work of art, particularly their later works. They're one of the rare few bands that only get better with time.

It’s a very strange. I lost my son last month. I’m still in big grief. Today I listen to this song and do not know the lyrics.
But when I started to listen, I really cried a lot and deeply. I don’t know the reason why just think melody was so sad.
However, I just read the lyrics and really surprised and cried again.
Also this song is about the saving and plea for the song of dead son.
Actually I like music like Judas priest, Running wild, Iron maiden, Sabaton, Grave digger something exciting.
However since I lost my son, only listen to songs like Amorphis. The music remind me of my heart and grief.
Moreover today’s my experience was so surprised. Still I’m in big grie, but thanks for the music which I can feel comfort and reflect my sadness.

Their entire discography is unbeatable, very unique and essential to my life. It is the perfect soundtrack to my endeavors and adventures. From Karelian to Queen of time, I am so glad i first heard of them back in High School in 06'.
For the next i can suggest their entire discography.
My best band ever,i am 😊 almost sixty years old and i discovered them in the lockdown, after the queen of time and before Halo album and i am in love with their music deeply.

I'm not from Finland, but I must admit no country can equal them in the huge quality of their bands... I dont know a Finnish band I don't like, they really are music gods...

First time I saw this video and heard this song, I immediately called around town for stores that sold the CD and found one who had one copy. I hopped in the car and drove and I don't even remember where I was living at the time or what store it was, but after flipping through the alphabetized jewel cases of myriad bands, I found the CD and was in awe of the beautiful cover art. Many years later, I did the same thing with Opeth's Blackwater Park (even longer drive). In the last ten years, that's the only two times I can think of where I didn't use Amazon, and I can't even remember the last time I saw a CD store around here.
Singing the lost of a son..gosh, no greater pain. Tremendous song, awesome as only theses finnish guys can do.
I usually don't care about music this heavy, but I must say I really like this song. And the vocalist's eyes.

I recently heard of this band and i'm loving it! I listen to many genres of music but especially metal and rock and this is just great.. doesn't sound generic like many bands.. it just has something special that i cant describe

This band is the closest to my heart. The sweet voice of this singer carried me through some of my worst years, and after all this time they remain there, unmoving, delivering nothing but amazing art year after year.
I, like you, probably, found them with this song. Go listen to more of them. Check out the rest of the Silent Waters album if you have time. Listen with an open heart and I guarantee it will leave a mark.
If they do strike a cord within you, at the first possible chance go and see them live. Even if big crowds put you off. Even if you've never been to a metal concert before.
These guys pour heart and soul into everythinf they do.
You may be a cynical one, and think that being in a band is just another job, and putting up a strong stage performance is but one of the tasks that come with the job.
