This is one of my favourite movements and I'm liking this interpretation, Monika 😊 Im waiting for all 20 movements then Ill put them on a playlist to listen like an album :)
I dont know if its the way the microphones are placed or whatnot, but I actually like that these recordings are a little 'drier'. I dont know if that makes sense, but I feel like I can bear the notes more clearly than in some other recordings. It helps me to find a deeper level of understanding with this piece.

Thank you for your kind words! Yes, the intention was to get a clearer sound because Messiaen is very precise with his articulation and it would have been a shame to lose this in the overall harmony, especially in the faster part of the piece.
