Congratulations on another fantastic DIY idea - no power tools needed and on a shoestring. Thanks for this super idea and good luck earning that ribbon!
I was wondering as well how they worked out? All the lights I see look like they would be blinding and annoying. I really like this idea. Did they light it up enough? Could you use the lower ambient bulbs? The Edison ones or would they not be enough light? Thankyou for your reply.
Can you send the product number from Amazon for the light string? I can't find a string that takes the regular 60 watt LED lights. Thanks. Love the idea! I will try it next summer so that I can ride when it is cool in the evening.
Well so far they have held up well in the wind, this weekend the wind was blowing like crazy, around 35 mph, so I think they have passed the wind test. I will have to let you know how they hold up to the moisture after it snows......
As a 3rd shift worker thank you for posting. On my schedule it's hard to work on horses during the day and the heat can effect me drastically
This is a perfect idea for our round pen!! Our arena has lights, but not our round pen!! Thank you so much!! My husband is going to be do surprised!!
Love it. Looks cute as well. I am super curious as to how it holds up, maybe you can do a 6 month update on how they hold up to weather. 👍
Alicia K Yes I would love to know as well. I adore the lights!
Great idea
Such a brilliant idea I have personally never seen a diy of arena lights any where on youtube! Loved it!

This is such a great idea! I only have a field to ride in so I’ll definitely be looking into doing this! Thanks 😁
It has been flippin freezing and windy in the four corners area.
Great idea! And the curious horse in the background is super cute!
P.S. I love Frisby supervising your work!
Great idea, looks very romantic as well and the supports look pretty. Now for a riding arena that looks as good as yours!

Great idea. You think solar string lights would work?
I was told that lights after dark make a horse night blind for 30 minutes

This is great x
