i once sit in economy class for almost 30 hours (had to transit in only 2 places). i always sit in economy class for 14 hrs straight and got no problem lol

This would have been more interesting in economy cause even if you bring your entire house, it still sucks because humans aren't meant to hold those positions for hours like that, it's dangerous to your health. Hell, a flight like this isn't a good idea period unless you are willing to make business class the standard.

Airwipe maybe they paid for them to stay one night in the hotel in changi airport. The hotel there is really cheap because it's usually for people with last-minute flight delays who need a place to sleep for one night

The econmy seats in sq are more comfortable than the other encomny seats in other airlines. Stop complaining. Although, their pricing is more expensive. However the staff has excellent attitude. When I went on a overseas learning journey with my friends, they kept asking us how we were and if we felt dizzy or anything. One flight attendant even said that his son studied at our school. Like, they were so polite and kind.

Landed a week ago after a 15 hour flight on economy class. My neck and back felt like they were broken and I had some initial trouble standing or walking and this lady in the video just chilling in business class.
Right. We had a 14 hour flight on a (budget) airline in economy and dear lord the seats were cardboard. You got off the plane just as stiff as the seats.

The longest flight I ever took was when I was eight. We got to be in first class (although it wasn’t a fancy Singapore airline, just an average American one) only because they messed up something with our ticket buying process, so we got first class for the same price as normal. The flight was 7 hours, but it didn’t feel too long because it was the first time I’d ever had a real meal on a flight. Pretty cool
There is a big difference between Business and Economy. Try an economy class for 19 hours then get back us because this is a poor representation of the vast majority. However, I did 10.5 hours from Phoenix to Heathrow and wasn't too bad on an AA and they gave us legroom with no one on each side for people in the rear of the plane, generally quiet flight, good food, attentive flight attendants and good entertainment.

Me and my family flew to Thailand last year and the long flights were Montreal to Shanghai and Hong Kong to Toronto first on the 787-8 and next on the 777-300 on the flight back we were seated right in front of the washrooms so the noise was a bit of issue but the food and service was pretty nice. (we flew with Air Canada)
Its *PREMIUM* Economy, a much better and upgraded version it's essentially for the middle-class and the service and comfort is just one noch lower than Buisness still bearable.
Edit: I personally love Singapore Airlines for its hospitality and quality service.

Msriiko it’s because most people know what economy looks like, they don’t need someone to show it to them on CZcams. However, many ppl never get to experience business or first class seats, so they are curious to see what it’s like.

went on their flight from singapore to LAX 17/18 hours direct it was actually really nice! as long as you fall asleep easy on planes like me and bring an extra small pillow you’ll be fine. took premium economy single seater in the back. best decision ever. my cabin space was beside me instead of another person so i didnt have to struggle w lifting my carry on and the cover of the cabin space became an extra table for me on my flight!

Fabian Gandara premium economy isn’t that bad. With extra-long-haul flights like this there are tons of entertainment choices. It’s this or go to Frankfurt then Singapore and add 10 hours to the leg whilst sitting in a fluorescent-lit terminal waiting for your connecting flight to Singapore. New York and Singapore are massive finical cities and most people on this flight are to do with business and just need to get from A to B.

The cheapest I saw was an Emirates flight on the other way around stopping in Dubai and Athens, 46 hours. This was fastest as this appeared to be a flight where the premium economy seats were being sold as economy. Best value was Ethiopian with the stops in Addis Ababa and Lome(capital of Togo).
I can't imagine a 19 hour flight in economy class. I can't even stand being 6 hours on the plane when I went to Korea because my butt hurts easily.

As somebody who flies 12 hours between Bangkok and London all the time, I must say that it’s not too bad, it’s bearable and I wouldn’t mind doing it often. The only gripe I have is that on a full flight, service takes too long to pass through.
Aiyaphol Kemapuckpong not to mention, at least from my experience extra-long-haul flights have plenty of entertainment and service. Sure it may not be as comfortable as business, but it gets the job done with a few hours of discomfort until you get up and walk around again. Business just really isn’t worth it most of the time.
Airwipe business seems like a far cry sometimes, and you sort of just have to suck it up. I know that the airline I fly has really nice meals for their crew (love their panang curry) so I always ask the crew if I can have some. The crew are always fun and it’s normally lots of fun conversation when you’re flying. I recently went to South America, and the crew there were really unique. Relaxed and super friendly. I had 24 hours in the air between Bangkok and Buenos Aires via Addis Ababa and Saõ Paolo, but luckily that was in business, but I think it’d be okay even in premium.
Oh i know how this feels i traveled 18 hours in total from two different planes in a row (not counting time waiting in airport and between flights) and its way more energy draining especially with a whole family to cater to and nearly missing our flight both times we got on. Overall an exciting and fun experience because we got to go somewhere different, although scary it was extremely exciting of the feeling of going somewhere new, i defiantly reccomend (also dont listen to sad music when the lights are out that just gets you way too in your feels)
