Subscribed , a lot of carvers assume some degree of prior knowledge , and also make cuts masked by either the tool , hand or excess light , but to actually see the cuts made clearly and giving reasoning behind them makes it so much easier to follow and understand for beginner carvers like myself. Excellent direct lesson. Also a basic explanation without add ons - i.e. you could also do this.... and we lose the basic instructions. A closeup of the final eye would be an welcome addition. I would be interested in your lessons and how you adapt to the needs of the carvers. However, since you are 14 hours and one country away that will probally never happen. If you ever put up video lessons, I would be interested.

In one of your video's you use a tool called the nose poker... I tried to look that up on Treeline couldn't find it... you are using it to carve in the nostril... does it have a different name... Thanks

That is a 2mm gouge. Very handy tool.
