- It's time for a foxtrot on Day 24. This is a tune that I believe Don Messer wrote. White River Stomp is a really popular old time dance tune. Jeremy Rusu is on the accordion for this one. Patti www.pattikusturok.com

Love it! Danced to this many ,many times when younger. 👍👍🌹
Thanks Patti for playing this song, now I'm learning how to play it properly.
You guys are great! My wife and I are really amazed at the number of instruments Jeremy can play. :)
Tony Majobian snowdrop flowe
Very cool tune and nicely played by both of you ..... thanks!
You guys are absolutely fantastic, this is a very catchy tune and you add that other dimension. Many thanks !
Sweet and clean!
You are fabulous together.
What instrument does he not play ..fabulous
I love your work.
Jeremy is one awesome player. Great back up.
Nice! and easy, great version of this wonderful tune.
Very nicely played. FWIW, "White River Stomp" was first recorded in 1930 by a string band called Jack Cawley's Oklahoma Ridgerunners.
JudgeSturdy my Grandfather❤️
@@AtDusk28 your grandfather made some great records! I recently uploaded one of his records from the 1930’s to CZcams. It’s on my channel under the name buster and jack! Should be one of the first videos on there if you want to hear it. Cheers.
@@SonBrimmer thank you so much for the reply and information. I have a few pictures and some correspondence from his early days. I may post somewhere for those interested.
@@AtDusk28 I’d be really interested in that! I’ve never seen a photograph of him or his group. I have a good handful of his original 78’s that I’ve managed to find over the years, but seeing a picture would be fantastic! He’s one of my favorite musicians. Where might you post them?
@@SonBrimmer I will go through what I have. I would love to have the information you have. He had a long line of childhood, grandchildren, great grandchildren. My son is a musician in Nashville, I was a musician, and several others in the family. Jack was my dad’s father.
I’ll get everything I have together and share perhaps on the “Forgotten Oklahoma’s” page on Facebook. It’s a great place to read posts and learn every aspect about Oklahoma.
I started working on this one. really like it!

My Grandfather Jack Cawley wrote this song!
