    This verse comes to mind when listening to pastor Jesse because of how clearly and efficiently he speaks on the topic at hand, Colossians 4:6 “Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.” May God bless you always pastor Jesse, and everyone involved at Bibleline. 🙏🏼

    It angers me at the stupidity and arrogance when someone says "yeah, it says nothing and nobody can take you from God's hand, but it doesn't say you cant." Jesus quite literally says "my father is more powerful" and "NOTHING"....NOTHING MEANS 0, ZILCH, NADA. Nothing can. You are included in that "nothing".
    What these men are failing to see is that they are placing a yolk on everyone else, which they themselves cannot even bare. I believe that's the definition of "hypocrisy". These people were all prophesied about in 2 timothy 3:5,7.

      You must have never heard of Jack Smack? 😂😂😂 He is one of the few Christians who just doesn't care and has no mercy on Calvinists and is always making videos about the danger of calvinism. It takes awhile to get used to the way he preaches because he is very direct but I love him, his content is fantastic.

      There's really no difference between Calvinism and those who believe that they can lose their salvation, because just as Calvinists believe in the "Perseverance of the Saints", those who believe they can lose their salvation believe in the very same thing. It's up to man to endure to the end with their works or else they prove they were never saved. Keyword that is the anthesis to the Gospel: WORKS. Imagine if didn't know the full story of King David from the Bible, only the fact that he committed adultery and murder and that he didn't repent for months, I wonder what those pastors would've thought about David's spiritual state?

      I agree. I have been in both of those camps. They do not bring lasting peace. Only Free Grace position in theology does.

    The sad part about this is that all of the false teachers presented here are all apparently still not trusting in Jesus alone for salvation. Unfortunately they will be like the ones referred to in Matthew 7:21.

    God's Grace is sooooo Amazing and unmerited, some people have a big problem with it.
    They think they have it but it's not for the people that they think don't deserve it because they aren't doing life like them.

    The pride of man is a powerful force and many can't help but to place themselves at the center of the salvation equation. It's not a coincidence that the first sin was pride.

      Couldn't agree more. In fact, I face it within myself, each and every day. It's not so much a "fight" anymore, like it use to be before I was Saved. Rather it's a conviction by the Holy Spirit. When you receive the Holy Spirit, you've acquired a Heavenly Father that guides you like a mortal parent would. Without the possibility of that parent walking away from you. I'm still held in awe, how a Spirit so Holy, can change a heart full of self righteousness, into a Sprit of Guidance, Patience and Love. Jesus said you must lose YOUR life to find it. It's impossible for one to do it on their own. But with God, anything's possible. This is done by Faith, which has been implanted into you by the Holy Spirit. This is why you are commanded to be led by the Spirit. There's simply not enough room for one's self righteousness and the Seal of Salvation to exist. (unless one should boast) Yes, it's hard at times. But it's a fact that has already been stated by my Savior. I was saved 27 years ago by a broken heart and spirit. God loves a broken and contrite heart. He doesn't have to fight self righteousness that unfortunately, still plagues a lot of people today. We should learn from our mistakes. But the world has no intention of correcting a wrong into a right. Only the power of the Holy Spirit can bring this wrong to a believer. However it's consequences to leading a believer to hell is null and void, because a believer has been purchased at a very high price. No one who is not saved, will fully understand how much God loves you. He cannot bring you to His House with dirty shoes. He could've left us to burn at this point. To save ANYONE through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, is an Act of Love on His part. But it's His Holiness, (Holy Spirit) that allows a believer to understand, that there's nothing that one could do to earn their Salvation. If humbleness isn't a part of the Fruit of the Spirit, may I suggest re-reading what Jesus says about losing YOUR life to find His?

      You made that up. You, without batting an eye probably don't question what "works" actually means ? Faith for and asking for salvation require effort. Is effort the equivalent of biblical "work" ? How do you decide what effort is anti-grace and what effort is pro-grace?

      Gds offspring can NOT sin. If a person is sinning then they have resurrected their old man and have become him again. The old carnal man can not be saved but is permanently condemned. Also, forgiveness from Gd intrinsically comes with being one with Js with him as your head. Only Js has a ticket into heaven. If we are supernaturally joined into his body, death, resurection then we no longer sin. So, cessation of sin is intrinsic to the faith we must have to be forgiven. Gds form of "forgiveness" is peculiar because our old man is NEVER forgiven, instead a completely new man is created without any guilt.

      Even Paul struggled with two natures, a sinful nature and the divine nature. The natures warred with one another.
      If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us. 1Joh 1:8-10

    I love the videos on this channel they are dead on accurate.
    I got saved when I was 12, I had a literal bona fide undeniable encounter with the Holy Spirit when I believed the Gospel.
    But I strayed immediately and God chastised the living mess out of me, and for a long time I struggled and i greatly feared that I had lost my salvation.
    But fortunately for me God himself intervened and proved to me that I had not lost my salvation.
    I once had another encounter with God where I was arguing back and forth with him. And I wasn't sure if that was him that I was talking to or if it was just self-talk.
    But... For instance there was this man that I was wanting to kill because this 25 year old multi-millionaire stole my 15 year old girlfriend. And I was arguing back and forth with God and the voice inside of me said.
    "But you have me, you have eternal life, you are going to live with me forever, but this man won't make it to the age of 50, he will live his life as an alcoholic and he will be dead by the time he's 48."
    And I snapped back at God and said "yeah right rich people don't die that young he can afford the best doctors if anything I'll probably die young because I'll be too poor to even afford health insurance"
    And while I was talking to God and not even sure if I was talking to God or if it was just self-talk I said
    "And I don't even know if this is you that I'm talking to and I don't even think I'm saved anymore."
    And i said "okay I'll believe it's you when I see it happen."
    And the voice inside said "you will see I'm not going to tell you how you'll see but you will."
    This conversation went on for a while and there's MUCH MUCH more to it then I care to explain here.
    But... About 23 years later the man died from alcoholism at 48 years old.
    Looking back on the conversation the same voice that told me that the man would live as a life as an alcoholic and be dead by the time he was 48 is the same voice that assured me that I had eternal life.
    Now looking at scripture scripture says the same thing. If I had not had such a little faith God would not have had to do something extra to prove to me that I was still saved.
    You can know that you have eternal life just by believing what the scripture says.
    As John wrote
    "I write these things that you may KNOW that you have eternal life."
    P.s.
    If anyone could lose their salvation through sinning too much it would have been me. During that period of my life I didn't look or act anything like a Christian but I was a born agaim child of God, and had I died at my worst moment I would have died fearing I was going to hell, but I would have woke up in heaven.
    I was still saved even when I didn't realize it.
    But like a good Shepherd Jesus said
    If one sheep goes astray he will leave the 99 in the field and go and bring that one sheep back.
    You can NOT loose your salvation, end of story.

      I am quite confident nearly 100% of ALL Christian's, who have taken the afterlife seriously, have struggled with this exact gospel truth. Eternally secure or not. I have personally gone through patches of both and after many many many hours of study and praying God allowed me to see that salvation truly is eternal and can not be lost. However the enemy wants me to waver from this. Why? Because the power of God is literally the gospel and if I lose faith in Jesus's plan if reconciliation then I lose spiritual power and am less effective for God because I hide from God when I have salvation anxiety.

      It is because of the influence of Rome and their works-based salvation. This theology of working for salvation is found in over 90 percent of denominations to some degree.

    Great video, I have met so many people who think if you sin after you are saved you can lose your salvation. If you are truly saved and your trust and belief in Jesus Christ is truly genuine coming from the heart, you don't doubt your salvation. you cant mix grace and works, it is one or the other, it is not humanly possible to live a life with zero sin, only Jesus can do that. not us.

    My questions to all works based salvation teachers;
    Have you personally done enough to be confident of your salvation?
    What human being born of the Spirit is now the new standard that we are to be measured by?
    How can I judge a brother or sister as a false believer if I measure his or her works to mine?
    I do believe every believer born of the Spirit has the guidance and conviction of the Spirit. I don't personally know any Christian who fits this straw man they speak of? It's ok to encourage good works out of love and devotion to our Lord as long as you don't tie it to necessity for salvation! This is the hole they keep falling into.
    Trust in Christ alone for salvation and do works out of Love for Him!

      You OSAS crowd claim that the believers who consider their repentance to be necessary in order to receive forgiveness are attempting to work for and earn Gd's forgiveness. WHY does your crowd insist this ? Is it because the act of making choices requires effort and "effort" is synonymous with "work" ?

      Why don't you also equate all effort with earning salvation ? There are several works your crowd accepts as necessary to receive forgiveness yet you don't take issue with those. How do you choose which works are pro-grace and which works are anti-grace ? Faith itself also requires work, reasoning about what you ought to believe requires work, reading or hearing the bible requires work.

    Older gentleman grinning as he says translations are a tricky business. Yeesh I thought when he said that I was hearing the devil say to Eve , did God really say?     After you believed in the blood atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ as the only and final payment for all your sins.... Meaning you accepted How Christ died for our sins and that he was buried and that he rose again the 3rd day according to the scriptures.... as the payment made in your place Acts 20:28 / Rev 1:5 Scriptures says you are saved and sealed and given eternal life Eph 1:13-14 / 2 Thess 2:13-14 / Rom 4:4-5 / Rom 3:19-26 / 1 Cor 1:17-31...
    So you are going to heaven on the merits of what Christ Jesus accomplished and by HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS WHICH IS HIS IMPUTED RIGHTEOUSNESS TO THOSE THAT BELIEVED THE GOSPEL
    So yes if a person so choses to live however they want after they are saved is a possibility....
    Galatians 5 says we have freedom in Christ.... But scripture also says that we have a dual nature after we are saved which Galatians 5 says to feed the Spirit and not your evil fleshly nature....
    So Just because turning from sin or sinning has nothing to do with how a person is saved, doesn't mean God wants a person to live after his/hers fleshly evil corrupt nature.
    That's all over Gods words including Rom 12 and so on....

    As far as I know, there is only one being with the power, and authority to break a seal of God, and that's Jesus Christ as depicted in the book of Revelation. He was VIVIDELY depicted as the only one worthy enough to do so, and he also said he would never cast us out, and Paul said NOTHING can separate us from his love in us. Our sin can't break a seal of God, unless you think sin is more powerful than God.

    2nd Corinthians 5 -- all sins of every person were imputed to Jesus and paid *colossians. Jesus became all my sin. We are saved when we believe Jesus died for those sins already. Reconciled.

      Brown recently posted a video on mocking Eternal Security as "?What's the Big Deal ? " . I always found those 'brethren' who deny or mock eternal security very disturbing, if not offensive. I'm now 65, when I was 18, Billy Graham came to Notre Dame ( South Bend, IN ) near where I lived, and rode a bus with a local AoG church ( my own newly joined church BBC had misgiving on Graham and his association with RC institution) . Friday Youth Night at ACC, with guest performer late Andre Crouch, Notre Dame.. I had more tolerant view of Charismatics back then, though I never was convinced of any supernatural manifestations on their 'tongues' )
      After the meeting, on the Bus back to nearby Michigan City IN, I had a discussion with a few students from the AoG college from Springfield MO, who had just come home for summer break, I mentioned that my chuch BBC had a college in same town, and they 'bragged' that they could 'argue out' of their eternal security.
      This issue of eternal Security was the chief stumbling block to Charismatic .
      Though in 1970s, Evangelicalism was making positive inroads in people of all denominations, Charismatics seemed to dominate, at least in TV medium. 38 WCFC Chicago and 46 WHME South Bend had mostly Charismatic programming .. PTL, 700 Club.. But also carried more True edifying programming like Jerry Falwell, David Jerimiah, Day of Discovery. which taught Eternal Secuity as foundation of Chrisitan Growth. After my crisis of Assurance in 1982 ( UPCi influence ), just before college graduation, I became more vulnerable to temptations of the flesh. In other words, Fear of Losing salvation, DID NOT make my Daily Walk better, But Worse.

      ​@@longstreet2740I would agree my brother. I was addicted for a long time to a particular sin in my youth, prettysure i got saved while attending AOG but they taught I could lose salvation. Well I had a crisis of faith, falling back into sin again and again thinking how could I be saved sinking deeper and deeper in sin and depression. The only time i had joy was when i thought id repented enough. I ended up leaving that church started listening to Calvary, old time Baptist preaching, learning about fellowship and true salvation in Christ alone by grace alone. And it's like a gust of wind from good doctrine is helping me to practice real self control and confidence in God to live for him. I still struggle with some depression because of finances, also temptation is always there sometimes i fall. But I trust God to hold me through it all, and to restore my joy as i confess my wrongs and he help me through it all.
      Eternal security advocates are helping me vs destroying my walk like Arminians did.

      @@ThemCoversMB I agree that Brown has written excellent apologetics on Messianic topics, just as Calvinist James White once wrote and excellent book on the Trinity.

    That ESV is so wicked, because, in the ESV, it seems like verse 14 is pointing to "man" and his righteousness of acquiring or receiving the inheritance himself instead of God giving it to us through faith in his Son. We are that purchased possession through his blood; but, no, the ESV says until we (the possession) acquire the possession it. The possession of what!? Eternal life? The possession acquires the possession? These people call God a liar.

    Here’s a word the Lord gave to a buddy of mine that was struggling with osas. Lord said, do not mix salvation with obedience. Basically Rom 11:6.
    All of these guys are mixing obedience passages with salvation (free gift) passages. No one’s obedience will ever be good enough. That’s why we must be justified by faith apart from works.

    I told myself a long time ago..do not listen to Good Fight Ministries anymore, because they mock and chastise anyone who believes in a Pre-Trib rapture. If they don’t see and teach the obvious in scripture regarding the rapture, then why should I listen to them on any other biblical doctrine. Now I see they are wrong on a lot more than that issue.     Is it just me or at times they do get exactly what the scripture means and they then try with lofty speech and very rushed at times speaking complicate even more with using passages that require a lot more study to gain context
    The simple passages do a great job of explaining the more complexed ones
    It’s hard to listen to them say what they say. You have lost people really seeking truth and going by how they presented themselves you would have to be like a rocket scientist to understand but it’s ok we will tell you what it means
    I pray these folks realise that they are pushing many people straight to hell by there poor understanding and turn away from it and start correcting what they say to those they have confused

OSAS literally says you will not die if you disobey AS LONG as you have faith for salvation one single moment in your entire life. The WORLD literally says there's no eternal consequences for sin.     Dr. Michael Brown is most dangerous. He is well spoken and an expert debater. He has influence in many movements. I wish people would not listen to his twisting of Scripture.     I feel like I have a really pretty sand castle and these people want to bring it down. I'd like to ask these men how many sins should I commit to lose my salvation. How many old ladies should I trip?? I believe either they don't know what they're talking about (which I really don't think it's the case)......or they're intentionally evil.
    Even if I went out right now to murder someone, wouldn't that sin be covered too *by the perfect sacrifice of Jesus Christ??* If I could "jump out" from God's hand by sinning, that would mean that Jesus has failed somewhere, no?     Foreknowledge does not necessitate predetermination. In this story we see God knows the outcome of something that never happens. This for me was the nail in the coffin to calvinism.

    To me it seems like a strawman, that you have two choices. Wesley or calvin.

    IMO the core problem is that people who’ve trusted in Christ for the free gift of salvation start looking at themselves and what they’re doing or not doing for their assurance instead of keeping their focus on Christ and what he has done ( past tense ) for 100% security.
    Regarding grieving the Holy Spirit, just as a human child can grieve a parent with their choices and behaviors, it doesn’t make that child no longer his parent’s child.
    We can certainly grieve the Holy Spirit who strives against our flesh and the flesh based choices and behaviors that are sometimes made, do not negate that we are still his child. But with both our human parents and our Heavenly Father , there will be consequences. No consequence , however is one that makes us no longer their/ His child.
    This documentary is so unsettling and heartbreaking because they are leading many to incorrect conclusions about the true gospel , the joy of the good news , and proper understanding of our security of justification vs our sanctification through our discipleship.

      Sorry but everyone will not be saved.
      Everyone has the choice to accept salvation but it must be made by each individual person to do so. God does love everyone one but his love is not synonymous with every one therefore being saved. That is specious deducing.
      Christ did die for all but that means that although he paid for everyone’s sins, that’s not equivalent to a blanket statement that therefore everyone is or will be eventually saved.
      Each person must choose to accept the payment to their sin debt account.
      Take a group of people at a gathering. They are told their meal has been paid for and to go get their food. The only ones that benefit from this offer are those that go accept their free meal and take it.
      Those that know of this offer but choose to not take it do not receive the benefit because they decided not to accept the food even though it was paid for.
      Universal salvation is not biblical. The OFFER of the fee gift of salvation is universal, yes ( everyone’s food has been paid for )
      But the ACCEPTANCE of the free gift of salvation by each individual is necessary to benefit from the offer ( RECEIVING the food that was paid for )
      How about a jail full of prisoners who were told that they all had their sentence commuted and are free to go.. All in the jail had their debt taken care of, but unless they each choose to walk out of the cell , the offer is no good.
      Someone can choose to stay behind bars even though their debt was paid and they’re free to go.
      The sin debt that was paid by Christ for all means nothing unless each person individually accepts and acts upon it.

    Yes, seals can be broken. The issue is the authority of who breaks them. Ephesians 1 says it's the Holy Spirits seal. That's God's seal. These same seals are in Revelation 5 and 6, where only Jesus Christ has the authority to break them. To say a person can break God's seal is pure theology. Only God can break His own seals, which means that God would take your eternal salvation away from you, not the other way around. Is this God's character? No.

      And if God did take his eternal salvation away from a believer, not only would it make God capricious like man, it would also mean that God would take away a person's salvation based on their performance---in other words, their works, how often they can sustain with their obedience, which the Word said salvation not of works but faith and it is a gift. If a gift is something you could work for to obtain then it's no longer a gift. If a gift is something you have in your possession but you must work to keep it, then it's no different than working for a wage. Working for a wage is works, performing. I must work to mantain earning a wage, therefore, if you use this same logic with keeping your salvation, I must work to maintain this gift of salvation or else I no longer have it. Then it's no longer a gift.

    If people who oppose eternal security and once saved always saved by using the word follow that John 10:27 KJV talks about then start off reading verse 24 in John 10 KJV and end in verse 29 or 30 in John 10 KJV to prove that the word follow that verse 27 in John 10 KJV talks about is about belief, not following Jesus Christ by serving Jesus Christ in our lives.

    See, if they are going to insert what they think modern day people mean when make a statement, Why wouldnt they do the same for someone who has long been dead? I really need to do some in depth study on these verses. Cause there are a lot of things that seem to contradict God, yet I believe it is our misunderstanding of the original meaning

    These conditionalists bring nothing but anxiety to the believer and produces doubts based on my own proformance. I thought the gospel was good news. I thought is was saved eternally by believing on the lord jesus christ apart from good works and profirmance

      They can believe that, but it doesn’t translate to the actual truth of the matter. The Holy Spirit does teach believers, but deception is powerful. Men sealed with the Spirit can be led away. Still saved nonetheless.

      If they believe in Christ alone, they will make it to Heaven. Some may have believed in Christ alone and are saved, but got confused by conditional security. Most denominations are adding to grace by teaching a false gospel of works.
      You have the front-load workers:
      Lordship Salvationists (Calvinist or non-Calvinists)
      Roman Catholicism
      Eastern Orthodox
      Greek Orthodox
      Lutheran
      Episcopal/Anglican
      "Church of Christ"
      Then you have conditional securityists. They may not believe in front loading the gospel with works but they believe that sin can make you become unsaved:
      Methodism (not all but a majority)
      All Pentecostal/ charismatic denominations (Assemblies of God, "Church of God", etc.
      And of course most front loaders, aside from Lordship Salvationists and the "Church of Christ", are also conditional securityists. This includes Roman Catholicism, Lutheranism, Episcopalalian/Anglican, Eastern Orthodox, Greek Orthodox.
      Then you have the back loaders which encompasses:
      Calvinists (including Calvinist Baptists and Prebyterians).
      Who does that leave who don't trust in some degree of works?
      I'd say a majority of Baptists, some non denominational churches, a minority of Methodists, and a few others.
      Over 90 percent of so called Christians are following works, which if indeed is works is trusting in themselves and not only on Christ.

    If you can; "jump out" of Christ then you never had Christ to begin with. Christ
    made salvation on HIMSELF. So if one thinks that they can keep themselves
    saved then they reject Christ altogether. The following areas of scripture explain

    thats also why i dont like ray comfort and most of the street preachers, because the imo preach a works based salvation, its most of the time "repent of your sins - AND believe on Jesus and you will be saved"
    repenting of sins is not once mentioned in the bible and its a false doctrine

    it is as if they suddenly don't understand the parabolic teaching of Jesus in John 10... Every other place in the Gospel of John eternal life is obtained by believing in Christ, so it's not like He suddenly here in John 10 says that eternal life is received by following Him in discipleship... they seem not to grasp the picture of shepherd and sheep... The picture is straightforward in John 10: "2. But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. 3. To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. 4. And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. 5. And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers. 6. This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them." (John 10.2-6) .... it is a *parable* ... In other words, the picture is: the shepherd calls on his sheep and they "follow him" into the place of his fold... in verse 7 Jesus said: "I am the door of the sheep"... so He is the door through which to enter... verse 9: "I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture." ... it's not enter and enter again and again,....

Tit 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Tit 2:12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
    This is true grace.

    How many today preach a gospel of faith alone yet they force a works I to salvation. So what they are actually saying is the finished work of christ is not enough and we help ourselves get saved by doing and not doing certain things.
    So a faith and works set up. Well that's a false convert.
    We are saved by the blood stained gospel period.

    Romans 3 : 23 - 25
    Are afew verses.
