Such a great episode. Friendship to me is being able to be open, vulnerable and transparent with others, being trustworthy and a confidante, provide support through the trials and being there to celebrate the wins through this rollercoaster journey of life.

Friendship for me is literally having people that stick close no matter what. Iron sharpens iron, so literally having those who will build and uplift you. The Bible says it is not good for man to be alone and I believe one of the ways God pours out His love to us is through our friends.

Wow. This episode was amazing! I think friendship to me is freedom to express, a safe space to grow. A space to love and to be loved for who you are authentically - no curtains! My friendships challenge me to love deeper and encourage truth. I understand love and honour, and I’m thankful. My friendships have changed my life, I don’t know where I’d be without them, I don’t really want to know.
I thank God regardless because His Hand has been on me, and truly, I’ve seen His grace in them.

Friendship to me is about forgiveness and communication. Friendship doesn’t require perfection but a loving heart. I’ve had a million best friends. People coming and going from my life. Nobody is yet to exemplify these qualities apart from my lord and saviour Jesus Christ.

Friendship to me, means doing life together! Been real, vulnerable & journeying towards Jesus together!! For me cultivating friendship looks like intentionally letting people in and pouring into other peoples lives! would love to grow in this area more though!!

For me, friendship means a bond focused on love, growth and peace.
Love your podcasts they bless me😍. Friendships for me ... He who walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools will be destroyed. A friend is someone who leads you into righteousness, brings you good opportunities, is a good influence and the discussions you have are life-giving, purposeful and supportive to them. Whether that be financial advice or even simple Maths help as it may be a subject they are struggling with. A friend is someone that leads their friends wisely in accordance with the love and wisdom God has placed on that individual, to then pour this onto their friends. A good friend will never do the opposite of these things!

CELIBACY IS AN INVESTMENT!
What does friendship mean to me?
Friendship is closeness and navigation. The title of a 'friend' is a high title and heavy weight to place on someone's, because friends are the people that get to peal back your layers. Friends are the people that you give access to, you show them what lies behind the curtain. Even biblically speaking, Jesus had 12 disciples but he had 3 that he were his inner circle, and witnessed things that the other 9 didn't. This make me think that you can have people around you, but friends belong in your inner circle. There is more intimacy between friends than acquaintances. And so friendship means closeness, doing life together with someone, allowing someone into the inner parts of you. But then friendship is also navigation. Friendship allows someone to see the potential you have, and drive it forward, help you steward what God has placed on the inside of you. When I think about a 'ship' I think of navigation, I think of steering. And that's exactly what the 'friend' ship is, it's allowing people to guide you and push you to utilise the gifts that God has given you to the fullest. Friendship is delicate, friendship is beautiful, and friendship is an investment. It takes real discernment, time, and vulnerability to build a healthy and functional friendship. But you can only cash out on an investment if you sow into it. And so for me, being able to call someone a friend means that I would have invested my time into that person's life (and vice versa) and do life with each other so that we can both pull out the God given vision and purpose on the inside of each other.

Friendship for me is something I do not take lightly at all. As someone who only really has relationships with their nuclear family, for me my friends are my family.
As for my best friend and close friends, they are people that get to see sides to me that no one else does. People I can be “naked” with, vulnerable and transparent. Individuals that respect my boundaries and truly want to get to know me. You never stop getting to know someone, we are all constantly growing and evolving (I would hope 😂)
Friendship - true & Christ-like friendship should be iron sharpens iron relationships. It should be family, speaking life, love and correction where needed
Friendship I feel is the purest form of love and companionship. Where u learn how to be there for someone without thinking about what to get in return like how romantic relationships could infer. I believe a friend is someone who you feel emotionally safe with. Someone who keeps you grounded in God’s Word and hold you accountable like how Proverbs 27:5-7 says “open rebuke is better than love carefully concealed, faithful are the wounds of a friend but deceitful are the kisses of the enemy.” A friend is reliable, and trustworthy like how David trusted Jonathan with his life to a point where the Bible said,” the soul of Jonathan was knit to the soul of David.” A friend loves you like how Jesus said,” greater love than this that a Man would lay down his life for His friends-JOHN 15:13. Finally a friendship is one where u can tell each other things not revealed to just anyone. I love how Jesus says you are no longer servants but friends because servants don’t know what their master is doing but I have revealed to you everything I am doing. It’s someone who sticks around and carries u through life’s greatest battles and victories too.

To me, friendship is about safety. A family I get to choose. A bond I get to nurture. And a growth I get to witness. Friendship is a sacred covenant to me. It's the decision to intentionally lay down my life in love and service to one whom I am in no legal obligation to regard. It's the introspection as each season passes and the revival as another begins. There is no guide to friendships, but friendships are a guide to life.
