BRO SLEIGHER YOUR IN MY TOP 5 FAV CZcamsRS EVEN THO ITS NOT A VIDEO
If you like making, make a hologram with OHP film to.
not to take anything away from this video, cause I love doing this effect myself all the time, but for anybody interested this "hologram" effect is actually quite old and it's also known as the Pepper's Ghost effect; it was first used by John Henry Pepper (thus the name) around the 1860s and it was used mostly in theatres, where there would be a glass sheet in front of the stage at an angle and in a pit right underneath the stage (usually blocked from the perspective of the audience) there would be a figure, most commonly some sort of ghost, that when lit in front of a back background would show on the glass sheet and it would look like there was an actual semi-transparent ghost on the stage.
Some really famous uses of this effect are: the dance hall in The Haunted Mansion / Phantom Manor at Disney parks (they have rooms above and below the track with different moving statues and with glass they make them look like ghosts) or also teleprompters used for live tv and broadcasts use basically the same exact effect.
Making this effect with Lego is just 100 times better lol
shut up we dont need a history lesson
Respect to my Fellow Lego Builders ❤❤❤

Budd you joined 7 months ago
this guy is so organized it is literally crazy how much time did you spend organizing everything you have once you got it???
You should totally submit these to LEGO Ideas. These builds are incredible!
yea true
Fr
They are super cool, but they are either wayyy to big, like the warden and rocket league, way too flimsy like the creeper, or require extra things like phones for the holograms.
@@Supersailor60 But if it were excepted as an official LEGO protect couldn't they just not include the phone/iPad and say "Download this app to use hologram?"
Small low cost lcd that you can load with videos
The final "hologram" display reminds me of a stage which used the same method to project Pepper's Ghost effects (the technical term for these "holograms") onto a physical set, which an actor then "interacted" with. There are (or at least were) two of these stages: one for a Woody Woodpecker theme park show in Japan, and one in the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum for a show called "Ghosts of the Library", both made by the same company.
Needless to say, building a of some kind which would sit behind the "hologram" box and using animations to augment the scene would be a cool idea.
I didn't believe that we can see a hologram from Lego glass until I saw your video
Riley keep up a good work.❤
This is so amazing! I’m going to try this one out right now! It’s so cool!
Sweet! Thanks!
you should make a giant one!
Bro get this man to a million subs!!
Underrateeedddd
Hello I love your creativity. I always loved lego but never new what to make but watching your videos has given me many ideas
It could be so cool to make this with a non-lego glass, to make it as hidden and seemless As possible, i would love to do this in so many things
Amazing video! And good voice changing 8:06
#2, the phone hologram, reminds me so much of the DS. So cool!!
Yooo it does kinda look like a DS!
I had the same thought!
I was thinking about this for a while... speaking of the DS, I think it would be awesome to make a rig for a DS that could play the game and react to the events on screen somehow. I have no clue how that would work and it sounds really complicated, in addition to this comment being literally 12 days late, but it was an idea that, taking into account past videos, you might consider!
10\10 for sure!
Amazing
Another fantastic video! Those were all cool, but the iPad one was just over the top amazing!
Thanks Dave!! 😎❤️
