Hey, Jamie, You look great in your blue shirt. I cannot believe these beautiful felt flowers you picked up at the Dollar Tree. Just the other day I bought a great for myself that was a little pricey but, I had lots of OT in my paycheck and mostly my money goes to my mortgage now and utilities and food, gas etc. The treat I bought myself is a tissue paper floral garland. The flowers are very intricately cut in a nice jute cord. There are different ways to hang it also. It came in a very sturdy nice box and people often laugh at me when I am opening gifts up because I check out the box for so long people are waiting for me to see the gift. The previous owner of my condo said she felt little heat and AC in the kitchen so she made this huge window with nice trim around it. I'm doing that she took out the cabinets so I do not have much storage now but, after I unpack all the boxes that are right under that opening and fix up the area maybe with a little table with a light I want to hang the swag I think that will be so cool. It is made out of a fade resistant tissue paper not sure how it doesn't fade but, that will be nice. BUT NOW I AM KICKING MYSELF FOR BUYING IT! OMGOSH I could have saved bleep bleep dollars and made a swag with the Dollar Tree flowers. Felt flowers would have been awesome. And this swag is non returnable unless something was wrong with them. Since Valentine's Day I have had up across the window a felt Valentine's Day garland. I fully moved in during March but hung the swag in Feb as I already had the keys and it was pretty as I brought things here every night. I love your bird house and it did remind me of a weathered one that has sat outside in a yard of an abandoned house. Jamie, my mom had a faux birdhouse on our porch made to look like an ice cream shop and one day a few years ago we heard chirping and we looked around and then saw a tiny head sticking out of the birdhouse. So beware. The tiniest birds may fit in your hole and lay eggs. Watch for disturbed moss or little sticks sticking out of it. I was thinking too at Michael's they have tiny birds made out of mushroom tops and you could add a tiny bird to it if you wanted. Seriously though, if you have birds that come into your porch and leave droppings of you know what on your furniture or tables, buy one of those plastic owls and stick it somewhere near your porch so the birds do not come. Many people around me put the owls in the corner top railing of their decks and they never have birds. Just a suggestion. I love your ripe tray and it is so nice a sturdy with the wood. I like the long handles too. They add an extra appeal to it with the little bit of jute on them. I believe my favorite would have to be the bird house and #2 the tray #3 the umbrella and your friend's idea for a mobile is super cool. More and more I sure wish I married and had a son and a dtr. I always wanted a Matthew and a Sarah but since my mom passed away a year this month I think if I was young enough for a child I would name a girl Suzanne Maria after my mom. Life is still good being single as you know. We make the best out of the life we have and have the attitude of gratitude. Sorry once again for a novel. Being a loner, makes me wrote a lot. Hi Jamie. I did like the umbrella. For a baby's room all sorts of felt critters can hang from many points of the umbrella that would sway and twirl with fresh breeze or any air movement. This would catch the eyes of baby and visitors alike. Wonderful colour stimulation for baby. I loved your little birdhouse and the rope tray but my fave would have to be the umbrella. Thanks for sharing
Jamie, please follow the advice of Linda Merrill about putting a cover over the hole of your birdhouse, I would up with a bunch of wasps. Had to throw the whole house away, after I got rid of the wasps.

Jamie, from personal experience you will need to purchase a cork to place in the bird house hole. If not you will have bees nesting. Not a fun experience.

Such great projects!! That umbrella will be SO cute over a rocking chair in a nursery! The birdhouse is adorable and gave me a nudge on a craft I've had in mind for awhile myself. I LOVE that tray though. I think 4-6 of those without handles would be gorgeous placemats with blue napkins (which I scored a bunch of at a tag sale recently. I could prolly share some with you.) The tree that you made looks good I was thinking if you wanted to use the tray to actually carry something with those handles you could probably take that little string and put it underneath your coil for the tray. She could put lights in that umbrella too nice soft yellow ones for night time
