its the grading not the GoPro colors
he has probably just thrown the gh5 grade on the GoPro footage and not graded it separately so thats why

La vie de papa they shot in a flat picture profile on the gh5 and on the GoPro probably in the normal picture profile so that’s way there’s more saturation :)

It does have less surrounding noise and more focussed on your voice so that could be quite enjoyable when in a busy enviroment.
Read the reviews. Almost every single reviewer says it’s in many ways worse then the hero 5 and totally flakes out against competing products such the Yi 4K + and Sony FDR-X3000r. From so so image quality to over saturated colors in the standard profile, bad flaring and poor sound.
Amen, Thomas! They're always focusing on trivial features when they should really be focused on image quality and REAL/optical stabilization to keep up with the competition. And this vlog setup doesn't make much sense to me... it kinda defeats having a small action cam if you frankenrig it up like that? Might as well pick up a more capable regular compact camera...
Matthias Sandrieser Sony FDR X3000r is $519 inc live view remote and underwater housing. If you spec the Hero 6 with similar accessories its nearly $200 more expensive then the Sony.
