Don't have any money to spend on your loved ones this Valentine's Day? No problem! Give them something that will warm their heart and put a smile on their face.
Write them a love poem!
This poetry exercise works for any loved one, not just a boyfriend, girlfriend or spouse. Write a poem to your best friend, to let them know how much your friendship means, or make a poem for your sister, to remind her how much you appreciate her.
Whatever you do, remember that Valentine's Day isn't about having a "date". It's about loving yourself and those around you, opening up your heart, and being around people who love you for who you are!

this is the first poem i’ve ever written don’t bully me and i kinda moved the lines around a bit:
darling,
when i first met you i knew you were great.
you drew me in immediately, with every personality trait.
you get me flustered and not in the way i hate.
i enjoy talking to you til it’s late.
i would love to hold your hand and consider it a date.
you are perfect in every way, even better than great.
i personally like this and as a beginner, i dont think i have the rights to say it’s perfect but honestly speaking, this is so lovely !!

I just mashed four Queen songs together (this is the first time I did something like this) & added, took out, &/or replaced parts. The songs if anyone's curious: Too Much Love Will Kill You. Love Of My Life. I Was Born To Love You. You Take My Breath Away. It turned out good. If anyone tries this method tell me how it works.

I am just bored and started writing a love poem about my favourite K-Pop idol. Lmao I am just one of those sad people with no love one in their lives right now.

What is a father?
No, it's not someone who's related to you by blood.
For if it was, mine would be named jake, and to him i seemed quite a bother
My fathers name is Michael, Mike for short, and with his love, he lets it flood
Mike stood up to be the dad he knew for a fact he didn't have to be
He didn’t even hesitate to step up and be a dad for us
And when anyone says he's an amazing man, we all can agree
We all appreciate him for putting up with the fuss.
I remember when i was just a little girl,
Moving in with Mike, as he and my mother reconnected.
He welcomed us in and gave us the world
He never made any one of us feel the littlest amount of neglected
He didn't see any one of us as a burden
He showed us love and compassion
And made sure a hopeful future for us would be more than certain
A world without my father is rather difficult to imagine
My Fathers an amazing fighter
For what he wants, what he desires
For example, he was a marine and is a wonderful writer
I look up to him alot, i'm one of his admirers
He loves to help people, and he succeeds
He’s never hesitated to help me when he's able too or when i need it
He's a wonderful man, and a wonderful father, That is guaranteed
But he also knows how to put himself first, so his success never quits

In our relationship, we grew closer, and i sure hope our friendship never will end

But most importantly i will never forget the impact he has on my mother
As for fans, he was always her number one
Dad, You’ve impacted many people in many different ways
