Great video- really helpful so thank you so much. Sorry if I’ve missed it, but do you have a link for the compressor/spray gun, and would you recommend them?
Keep up the good work 👌

Thank you very much for the kind words. Of course no problem sharing the kit I used. The spray gun I used is a Sealey S701G (£29.35) and the compressor was a very basic Lidl (Parkside) unit with a 50 Ltr tank and a 1.8kw motor (£99). Firstly the spray gun, I choose this as it had good reviews and for £35 it was within my budget. I did buy a cheap Chinese gun for similar money before this but regretted it as the paint on the handle of the gun reacted to the thinners I used and this then blocked the jets in the gun making the paint finish terrible. The Sealey gun to be honest has worked really well. I did find that when painting the base colour I struggled to get it wet enough some times but this I would say is quite possibly down to my lack or experience and the fact that I am basically an idiot! I still would recommend this gun given I still have it and it still works really well. The compressor worked really well too. It is tiny and when I would start spraying the van it would have to run continuously rather than cycle on and off like a normal compressor would do. This told me that it didn't really have the capacity to keep up. Although it never let me down, it did the job and in fact still is in my workshop ready to work, it is now my backup air compressor. I've moved to a slightly bigger machine which has twice the capacity or as they call it in the trade a higher CFM. If you only have one or two jobs to do and you are on a tight budget then I would recommend it but if you are looking a little further into the future with a compressor that can keep up with your demands on an ongoing basis then I wouldn't recommend it. Either way, I offer you links to the items I am talking about and really hope that it helps you with whatever you are preparing to do. Thanks again for watching my videos it means a lot and makes all the effort so worth it!
This is a link to the spray gun on Amazon. I can't vouch for the seller as I can't remember where I bought my gun but it definitely is the same one I use:

This is not a link on where to purchased the compressor I used in the CZcams video but rather a link to show you what it is as you can't buy it unless you go to a Lidl supermarket and they happen to be selling them at the time of your visit:

Lastly, this is the compressor that I bought to replace the old one. This I will recommend but it is much more expensive and this is the actual seller I bought mine from(£329.00):

Thanks so much for the incredibly detailed response. And I think you sell yourself short by calling yourself an idiot 😂
